How Does Rosenstein Keep Showing Up?

NAPOLITANO BOMBSHELL: MANAFORT EXONERATED OF SAME CHARGES EIGHT YEARS AGO!

Rod Rosenstein was the prosecutor that led to the exoneration!

In a television interview, Judge Anthony Napolitano explained how Paul Manafort was exonerated of the same charges eight years ago by then-prosecutor Rod Rosenstein.
The Judge’s words back up President Trump’s “Witch Hunt” argument as there’s a clear bias to this entire media circus the nation has endured for months.
“Paul Manafort was investigated by the federal government by a team of federal prosecutors and FBI agents for all this stuff eight years ago and they exonerated him,” said Napolitano. “And who was the young prosecutor that led that exoneration? Rod Rosenstein.”
“Well, now he runs the Justice Department. And they have threatened to call Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein as their first witness and have him give to the jury all the reasons why he declined the prosecution of these charges eight years ago.”

Pruden Tells It Like It Is

Explaining

the Foreign Intelligence

Surveillance Court (FISA)

Fiasco

https://israel-commentary.org
The surveillance state is here, and to stay
Redacted from article
By Wesley Pruden – The Washington Times
February 8, 2018
The administration of Barack Obama, eager to advance the interests of Hillary Clinton, who was to be the front for his otherwise constitutionally forbidden third term, sought court approval to spy on a suspected colluder with Russians, and in doing so advanced the surveillance state that will now spy on everybody.
Everything about FISA is shady, smarmy and suspicious to the limit. The Obama administration cut corners and trashed the ethics (do not laugh) of government lawyers to get necessary warrants to pursue Carter Page, a minor Trump campaign aide and the suspected colluder.
To do that, the lawyers for Mr. Obama’s government told the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court some imaginative things about Mr. Page, none of them good and some of them more than a little naughty. But what Mr. Obama’s lawyers didn’t tell the court was that their “facts” were extracted from a dossier of unverified rumors, hearsay, gossip and street talk, put together by a British undercover man whose word and reliability the FBI would not vouch for.
Nor were the judges told that an official of the Justice Department, one Bruce Ohr, had colluded privately with the author of the dossier — and that Mr. Ohr’s wife, Nellie, had worked on the dossier. The dossier was not great literature, but it apparently was enough to keep a family together.
Most revealing of all, the dossier was originally paid for by Hillary Clinton, eager to collect campaign dirt on Donald Trump, and the Democratic National Committee, which was doing everything it could to grease the nomination for Bubba’s first lady. Mr. Obama’s lawyers were working under the mushroom theory of courtroom connivance, keep the judges in the dark and under a blanket of bovine fertilizer. Judges usually don’t like that.
But it was all in a good cause. Donald Trump had to be destroyed, lest lightning strike and he become the president of the United States. Lie, fib, fudge and make it up, and when caught at it lie some more. Everybody expects politicians to lie. Denial is the unanimous reaction on the left to “the memo” that set out some of the particulars of the chicanery uncovered by congressional committees.
“The big memo was a bust,” wrote one hyperventilating pundit in flyover country, still in a sulk that Donald Trump was elected by the Electoral College, as the Constitution provides, and not by a popular vote. The memo accomplishes “little other than prompting the preposterous second-place president to declare preposterously that somehow, amid its utter irrelevance, the memo had vindicated him.”
But what we saw, Judge Andrew Napolitano, retired from the New Jersey judiciary, observes in The Washington Times, was “a new turn as politicians engaged in cherry-picking snippets from classified raw intelligence data that support their political cases, pro-Trump and anti-Trump.”
Politicians, good ones and bad ones, are eventually deleted from the passing parade, and this, too, will pass. (So far it has no name, but only if we’re lucky will it escape being called “something-gate”). But the damage done will not pass so easily. The surveillance state, once established, is likely to be with us forever.
The implications of “something-gate” are well over the heads of the big-time mainstream legacy media, so called. Barack Obama was once a professor of constitutional law, deeply distrustful of what he agreed was a secretive “deep state,” but once in the White House he, too, recognized the usefulness of a weaponized intelligence service and even the IRS, ready to go after pesky critics. The big-time mainstream legacy media is largely dedicated now to the restoration of how it used to be, and how it must be again.
Woodward and Bernstein are footnotes now to an ancient history. There are no hungry reporters in hot pursuit of a Nixon administration or rogues in the government of Ronald Reagan. The New York Times and The Washington Post, together with the great civil libertarians, are no longer demanding accountability in inconvenient places. They oppose the disclosure of embossing public documents. The president is an inviting target and bashing him is great fun.
The watchdogs have gone to sleep, lest they see something they don’t want anybody to talk about.

Is Mueller Grasping For Threads?

Judge drops Mueller investigation BOMBSHELL

by Frank Holmes, reporter
A key player in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation admits that it is a “witch hunt” that should have been shut down long ago – and according to Fox News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano, it proves that Trump is innocent.
The special counsel’s legal inquest is spiraling out of control as Mueller searches desperately for something that will let him put the president away – and he thinks a drunk, disgruntled ex-employee has the answer.
Former Trump campaign political adviser Sam Nunberg had a humiliating meltdown on every news network that would point a camera at him he was subpoenaed by Mueller – but he aired a lot of dirty laundry along the way.
President Donald Trump fired Nunberg twice – and Nunberg holds a deep grudge over it – but, surprisingly he also believes that Trump is being unfairly targeted by Mueller.
Last week he called Trump an “idiot” and said no one hates the president “more than me.”
“I’m not a fan of Donald Trump. … He screwed us over during the campaign.” Nunberg told Katy Tur on MSNBC.
But what does he think about the Mueller probe against Trump?

“The president’s right. It’s a witch hunt,” Nunberg said.
That’s why he refused to go along with the charade, even if it meant jail time. He threw down the gauntlet to Mueller. “Let him arrest me,” Nunberg told The Washington Post last week.
But with a choice between the witness stand or a jail cell, Nunberg stepped right up.
Bright and early Friday morning, Nunberg walked in the front door of a federal courthouse to testify before the grand jury, flanked by his lawyer, Patrick Brackley.

The government played good-cop, bad-cop, according to Nunberg – offering him either a prison sentence or complete “immunity.”
That deal proves that Nunberg — not Trump — is guilty of some crime, according to Napolitano.
“If Mueller did offer Nunberg immunity, it can only mean that Mueller desperately needs Nunberg’s testimony,” said a Fox News legal expert, “and that Nunberg has some criminal exposure.”
Evidently Mueller doesn’t care that his charges may be based on the word of a criminal.
Nunberg’s media interviews, filled with crying fits and emotional outbursts, left heads scratching and tongues wagging.
At one point, CNN’s Erin Burnett leaned over and told Nunberg to his face, “I have smelled alcohol on your breath.”
He denied that he had ingested anything “besides my meds, anti-depressants.”
But his best friends didn’t buy Nunberg’s claims of sobriety. “There’s something, and drinking I believe is a big part of it,” said Nunberg’s friend, Fox Business talking head Charlie Gasparino.
Nunberg realized his secret was out and announced later in the week that would go to rehab – but not until after his grand jury testimony.
He may have gone to the witness stand drunk last Friday. Mueller knew it, and that was fine with him as long as it helped him get at the president.
In fact, Napolitano said the testimony proves that the Mueller’s kangaroo court is only ramping up its efforts to take out Trump. Mueller’s attorneys are pursuing three separate lines of attack to impeach the president, the judge said.
“One seeks to determine whether the Trump campaign received ‘anything of value’ from any foreign national or foreign government, and whether Trump personally approved of it – a felony,” Napolitano said.
This phony charge already hit the airwaves, when Trump-hating Bloomberg News reported that Russia funneled $300 million to Trump through Germany’s Deutsche Bank.
But it turned out to be a total fraud. Mueller had subpoenaed Establishment hack Paul Manafort for that, not Trump or his family.
Strike one.
Another investigation tried to blame the president for personally trying “to obstruct the work of the Mueller grand juries by firing then-FBI Director James Comey for a corrupt reason,” which is also a felony.
But it was one of Trump’s enemies, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who recommended firing Comey over his mishandling of twice-failed democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s homebrew e-mail server.
Strike two.
Mueller’s last fallback trap for the president is trying to prove that Trump “misused or misrepresented corporate funds or bank loans in his pre-presidential life – another felony,” Napolitano wrote.
After Trump threatened to sue Nunberg in 2014, Nunberg responded by accusing Trump of using money from the Trump Organization to fund his presidential campaign. That’s what Mueller wants Nunberg to tell the grand jury – which means he knows all his other legal attacks have been total failures.
So, Mueller put a drunk and known criminal on the witness stand and hoped he’d say something that would trap the president.
Basing an impeachment and possible criminal indictment on the testimony of a mentally unstable man with a drinking problem who admits he broke the law has got to be a new low.
And it should tell everyone how phony this whole travesty is.

Wonder How Much Napolitano Took For Herself?

BUSTED: Janet Napolitano Hid Stash of $175MIL for Berkeley, Home of ANTIFA Protests

By guest contributor Jon Harris
The University of California school system and the site of an ongoing free speech battle has another problem—corruption. In the battle over free speech, President Janet Napolitano has been criticized for not taking action to protect the university, free speech, and the First Amendment of the Constitution. Janet Napolitano has a bigger problem, though. A state audit found that the University of California—and in particular, Napolitano’s office of the president—hid a stash of $175 million in secret funds while its leaders requested more money from the state.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the audit found that the secret fund ballooned due to UC purposely overestimating how much was needed to run the school system, which includes ten campuses in the state. Janet Napolitano, the former Department of Homeland Security chief, is in charge of the UC system.
Napolitano denied the audit’s claim. She reportedly said the money was held for any unexpected expenses. Her office also denied the amount in the fund but had no documentation to dispute the report’s findings.
Elaine Howle, the state auditor who authored the report, found that from 2012 to 2016, UC’s office of the president attempted to raise more funding by inflating estimates of what was needed to operate the university system. Howle also said that a top staff member in Napolitano’s office improperly screened confidential surveys that were sent to each campus and deleted or changed answers critical of Napolitano before the surveys were sent to the auditor.
“I’ve never had a situation like that in my 17 years as a state auditor,” Howle said. “My attorneys are looking at whether any improper government activities occurred. Taken as a whole, these problems indicate that significant change is necessary to strengthen the public’s trust in the University of California.”
Howle said Napolitano overcharged the UC system’s campuses to fund its operations, paid its employees significantly more than state employees, and interfered with the auditing process.
The audit found that over the course of four years, the UC’s central bureaucracy amassed more than $175 million in reserve funds by spending significantly less than it budgeted for yet still asked for increases in future funding based on its previous years’ overestimated budgets rather than its actual expenditures.
“In effect, the office of the president received more funds than it needed each year, and it amassed millions of dollars in reserves that it spent with little or no oversight,” the report said.
University employees and lawmakers, who requested the audit, expressed outrage over the audit’s findings.
“Today we learned that after squandering millions of public dollars on bloated management and unaccountable initiatives, the office of the president has effectively operated a slush fund and hid hundreds of millions of public dollars from public scrutiny,” Kathryn Lybarger, president of UC’s largest employee union, said in a statement.
She criticized the office’s “skyrocketing executive pay,” a reference to the audit’s finding that the ten executives in the office were paid a total of $3.7 million in the 2014-15 fiscal year. That amounted to over $700,000 more than the combined salaries of their highest paid state employee counterparts.
The audit went on to say that University of California president Janet Napolitano’s office hid the secret funds even from its own board of regents and created a secret spending plan while padding the salaries and benefits of her staff.
For years, state lawmakers have been clashing with the university system over its opaque finances and escalating costs amid calls for belt-tightening by Gov. Jerry Brown. The tension between the state and the prestigious university system had mounted since the recession, when UC repeatedly hiked tuition to backfill state budget cuts and turned away record numbers of California high school seniors while admitting higher-paying out-of-state and international students.
The audit cited extensive problems with financial management at UC’s central office, including the following findings:
Administrative spending shortly after Napolitano took control increased by roughly $80 million, or 28 percent, between 2012-13 and 2015-16, but the central office doesn’t have a reliable or consistent way to track such expenditures.
It received significantly more money than it needed in each of the four years reviewed by the auditor but asked for increases in future funding based on inflated budgets from previous years.
It paid executives a total of $3.7 million in the fiscal year 2015-16—$700,000 more than other top-paid executives at comparable state agencies—and spent at least $21.6 million in employee benefits, including contributions to supplemental retirement savings plans.
Janet Napolitano was United States Secretary of Homeland Security from 2009 to 2013 under President Barack Obama.

Hillary Will Have To Face Charges Which Will Be Brought Before The Convention Where She Will NOT Be Nominated. Obama Then Will Pardon Her Before He Starts His Third Term.

Can Hillary Continue to Evade Accountability?

Hillary Clinton, for the most part, eagerly embraced the record of President Barack Obama during Thursday night’s Brooklyn, New York debate on CNN against Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Sanders has won eight of the last nine state primaries or caucuses, with the all-important New York state primary coming up this Tuesday. The question of Hillary’s mishandling of classified information never came up in the debate. But earlier in the week, the President had doubled down on his attempt to assure the public that at worst, Hillary was just “careless” regarding her handling of classified materials on her private, unsecured email server while secretary of state. And that wasn’t the first time that he has publicly pre-judged this ongoing investigation, while claiming to have no more knowledge of the facts or the investigation than what can be found in the news.
Judge Andrew Napolitano wonders whether Obama’s use of the term “careless” was “Machiavellian” or just “dumb.” He wrote that by calling it “careless,” it “may actually harm her in the eyes of the public or even serve as a dog whistle to the FBI. That’s because carelessness is a species of negligence, and espionage, which is the failure to safeguard state secrets by removing them from their proper place of custody, is the rare federal crime that can be proved by negligence—to be precise, gross negligence.”
BIN-OpEd-Experts-300x250(1)
It would appear, however, that Obama and Hillary are protecting each other. If Hillary is indicted, Obama surely would be ensnared in the scandal, and would face the wrath of the Clintons for destroying her chance to become president.
As we move toward the two presidential nominating conventions this summer, the FBI’s dual probes into the transmission of classified material on Mrs. Clinton’s private server, and allegations of corruption, may have reached a vital stage. According to Politico earlier in the month, the FBI will be interviewing top State Department staffers over the coming weeks, and maybe even Hillary Clinton herself.
Four of Mrs. Clinton’s staffers who are likely to be interviewed—Jake Sullivan, Cheryl Mills, Heather Samuelson and Philippe Reines—have sought representation from Beth Wilkinson, who, as we noted, is the wife of NBC’s David Gregory and a Clinton donor.
Sources have told Politico that Sullivan “authored” top secret emails. He is currently a top foreign policy advisor to Clinton’s campaign. However, that Politico article fails to mention that Mrs. Clinton wrote 104 classified emails herself. This omission is but one of many attempts that the news media have made to shield Mrs. Clinton from the consequences of her actions.
“The Department of Justice will not reveal to the aides or their lawyers what it knows about the case or what evidence of criminal wrongdoing, if any, it has acquired on each of them,” wrote Judge Napolitano in another column. “Hence, if they submit to an FBI interview, they will go in ‘blind.’ By going in blind, the aides run the risk of getting caught in a ‘perjury trap.’”
An interview with Mrs. Clinton would be blind, as well. “If she were to decline to be interviewed…the feds would leak her rejection of their invitation, and political turmoil would break loose,” added Napolitano, continuing, “because one of her most imprudent and often repeated public statements in this case has been that she can’t wait to talk to the FBI. That’s a lie, and the FBI knows it.”
Al Jazeera America’s (AJA) David Shuster reported last month that an interview with Clinton could come within days. It has not, and AJA signed off the air for good this week. FBI Director James Comey told WIVB on April 4 that he felt little pressure to conclude the investigation before the Democrats’ convention this summer.
As we have reported, the FBI’s delay in concluding its investigation casts a shadow over Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and makes the investigation appear more and more politicized as it drags on. Add to this that the State Department’s own probe has been put on hold in deference to the FBI’s investigation, and it has become clear that public pressure is mounting on both sides for the bureau to finish its work.
There is no doubt at this point that Mrs. Clinton has been caught publicly in numerous lies, yet the mainstream media continue to overlook her many falsehoods in an attempt to bolster her candidacy. In particular, the news media continue to allow Mrs. Clinton to call these potentially criminal proceedings a “security review.”
“They [Republicans] are clinging to the hope that the way they’ll be able to deal with that is that at some time between now and the election, and they say this, that they will get to see Hillary Clinton in handcuffs,” said NBC’s Matt Lauer on The Today Show on April 8. “That there will be some kind of political perp walk based on your private server.”
“Oh my goodness! Well, Matt, I know that they live in that world of fantasy and hope because they’ve got a mess on their hands on the Republican side,” replied Mrs. Clinton. “That is not going to happen. There is not even the remotest chance that is going to happen.”
Director Comey has a reputation for having been an independent, straight-shooter under multiple administrations. He was deputy special counsel to the Senate Whitewater Committee during President Bill Clinton’s tenure. “In 1996, after months of work, Comey came to some damning conclusions: Hillary Clinton was personally involved in mishandling documents and had ordered others to block investigators as they pursued their case,” writes Massimo Calabresi for Time magazine. “Worse, her behavior fit into a pattern of concealment: she and her husband had tried to hide their roles in two other matters under investigation by law enforcement.”
However, when Comey investigated a potential pay-for-play vote-buying scheme involving both Clintons, he found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing. “The [Hasidic] village leaders’ aggressive courting of the president and Mrs. Clinton before and after the 2000 Senate election raised questions of whether the men’s sentences were reduced in exchange for votes,” reported The New York Times in 2002.
The mainstream media continue to ignore evidence of corruption in hopes that as Democrat Party heir apparent Mrs. Clinton will attain the presidency. A prompt and full investigation by the FBI, no matter the outcome, is necessary so that Americans can make an educated vote this election.
And there is yet another wrinkle to this story, another clock that is ticking. As The Wall Street Journal’s Kimberley Strassel reported last week, two federal judges, Royce Lamberth and Emmet Sullivan, are demanding some explanations from the State Department and Mrs. Clinton. They have granted Judicial Watch “the right to conduct discovery into the origins and handling of her private email system.” This is being done in a Freedom of Information case, for which discovery is rarely used.
Newly released emails show that some emails that should have been were not turned over to the State Department. One of the judges said that the fact that Mrs. Clinton and her aides were the ones who decided which emails would be turned over to State was “evidence of government wrong-doing and bad faith.” The other judge said that it “boggles the mind that the State Department allowed this circumstance to arise in the first place. It’s just very, very, very troubling.”
The depositions that these judges are allowing as part of discovery in this case are set to happen right about the time of the Democrat convention in July. More bombshells to drop in this strangest of all presidential election years.
