Regretfully I Still Am A Birther

Today, President Obama gave us his long form birth certificate, at least that is what he told us. He also said that his birth status was taking up too much time in light of the major issues the United States is facing. Well, I sure do wish that I felt that he was telling us the truth.

When it comes to his birth status I still have questions. For a couple of years there has been the copies of Eleanor Nordyke's twins birth certificate going around the net.  These documents show a birth date of August 5, 1961 and a acceptance date of August 11, 1961.The Department of Health record file numbers are 151-61-10637 and 10638. So you say, what does that mean?  Well, when we look at the newly released birth certificate you see a birth date of August 4, 1961 (one day before the twins), an acceptance date of August 8, 1961 of August 8, 1961 which is three days before the Nordyke twins, however the record file number is 151-61-10641 (three or four numbers after the twins record file number.)  Both the twins and Obama were "born" at the same hospital.

Now there are two answers to this puzzling question, either the Hawaii Department of Health system was incompetent at that time and recorded births out of order (which for government officials could be understandable) or the "new" document is not real.

There are two additional issues with the document as portrayed by the President as his "birth certificate."  The first is that his father's race is listed as "African."  In 1961 which was before the Civil Rights era, the proper description of someone whose ancestry was Africa, would have been Negro.  Why is it this way? Again, is it incompetency on the part of the Health Department or....

The second question that is that if you look at the President's newly released document, it appears to have been copied out of a book as you can tell the left margin is getting darker. If we accept this as the record, then the State of Hawaii would have had to go back and make new copies of the old birth certificates. If you look at the Nordyke certificates, they are the black background with white writing which is what all older birth certificates (including my own) look like.

Another question that arises in my mind is why is he named Barack Hussein Obama II and not Barack Hussein Obama Jr.?  Normally, parents name their child Junior if all the other names are the same.  Just a question, that tickles the innards of my less than fertile mind.

So I guess I am still one of those demented birthers who will never accept his "story."  I go back to my comments earlier this month advising the President to release ALL of his records including his college records.  He won't and I fear he will take the attitude that he doesn't need to as he has released his birth certificate. Until the time  he produces all his records, there will always be those who like me,  who keep wondering "if he has nothing to hide, why does he just not come clean."  The only answer I can think of, he is dirty!

Show Us The Records, President Obama

With all the discussion that has occurred since Donald Trump said he did not believe President Obama was a eligible to be President, one person has been totally quiet on the issue. That person is President Obama.  No comment, no statement, nothing has been said. This has rekindled the "birther" controversy.

We have heard about this issue during his run to be the Democratic candidate, during the campaign, to his election and even before he was inaugurated. There has not been much done to clear up the issue. Of course, there was the "certificate of live birth" which the Obama campaign placed on its website as "proof" that the President had indeed been born in Hawaii and there is the article in the local Honolulu paper which indicates the birth of a son to the Obama's.  However, there are three points the birthers point to support their contention.

Point one is that a "certificate of live birth" is not a full birth certificate and can be obtained by anyone and does not give details of the birth such as doctors, hospitals etc. Point two is the newspaper article could be faked.

However, the biggest point that most people feel is important. Why has the Obama Campaign and now the White House spent so time and effort to keep this secret?  There can only be one reason.  There is something that is not quite right.  Otherwise, why would they not want to put the whole bloody thing  behind them  by revealing the documents and moving on.  Allow the press and all other interested parties to see the Hawaii State documents which will either confirm or deny the "birther" argument.

Also fueling the concern that President Obama is not eligible to be President, is that he has prohibited the publication of his college records from undergraduate to law school.  Why would anyone do that unless there was a reason.  Could he have applied for college admission by indicating that he was a citizen of Indonesia or some other country? Could he indicate on those records that he was born somewhere else  but Hawaii? Could he state that he had never lived in the United States?  Could he have faked college degrees? One can only wonder why these records are sealed which only makes skeptical minds to wander to the nefarious.

I believe it is time for President Obama to put these distractions behind by allowing Hawaii and his colleges to disclose ALL the information they have in their possession.  Without doing this, the birther idea will always be there.
