Let's Think About These Kids Coming From Central America. Does It Make Sense?

Puzzle One for you all:  Imagine you are a 3 year old to 8 year old child.  You are on your own without adults.  You are asked to walk from Houston, Texas to Minneapolis, Minnesota on your own with no food or belongings to sustain you.  Then you are asked to walk an

addition 100 miles past Minnesota. 

 

Could you do it?

 

How long would it take you as a 6 year old?

 

That is the minimum distance these poor, helpless little ones have supposedly walked from Central America to the border of Texas, again, on their own.  They didn't get lost.

 

And they survived the journey without help (unless you buy in to the notion that a destitute out-of-work family run out of their homes by gangs and living in squalor somehow came up with $8,000 to $10,000 for EACH child to pay a coyote to take them to the border).

 

 

Now, on the map above, Puzzle Two, you must start

somewhere in the green area:  Let's make it easy and start where green meets orange, so that you had the least mileage by not having to cover the whole green area.  Just start where the green meets the orange. Blue, of course, is water. 

 

Your task is to figure a route from the green area to the purple area without going into the blue area and while avoiding towns and cities in the orange area. The black line is the distance from the nearest town to Mexico's southern border that touches the green area to Laredo, Texas, one of the CLOSEST purple towns. 1220 miles across desert and mountains with no equipment or

food or help.

 

If orange had stopped these innocents where orange touches green, problem would not have occurred. However, what six year old do you know who could walk 1220 miles (minimum), probably more like 1500 miles on their own without dying?

 

How many days would it take for a 6 year old to walk 1220

miles without help, directions, food, sun protection, etc.?

 

I don't think the truth is being given to us, folks.

Despite several actions the White House is taking to address the spiraling illegal immigration crisis at the U.S. border, President Barack Obama still "doesn't get it," Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu tells Newsmax.

"This president not only doesn't get it, he has completely failed in his core responsibilities to enforce the law and secure our border," Babeu, the chief law-enforcement officer in Pinal County in the southern part of the state, said in an interview Friday. "There is no longer any law when it comes to immigration. He's now termed it as 'a humanitarian crisis.' "



Babeu, 45, a Republican who was first elected in 2008, ripped several efforts by the administration to address the worsening situation, particularly with minors traveling alone.

They include:

• Speeding up deportation hearings by adding more immigration judges and providing other enforcement resources.
• Meeting with Central American leaders to try to dispel rumors that legal status will be granted for illegals who arrive without documentation. Vice President Joe Biden met with leaders in Guatemala on the issue.
• Providing $9.6 million in additional support to Central American governments to receive and reintegrate their repatriated citizens.
• Visiting detention centers for illegal minors on military bases. Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson toured the facility at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Similar facilities have been created in recent weeks on bases in California and Oklahoma.
• Opening new centers throughout the country for illegal families. The government operates only one now, in York County, Pa., which houses fewer than 100 people.

The moves came as the Department of Homeland Security announced that more than 52,000 illegal minors had been arrested at the U.S. border between October 2014 and June 15.

That was up from the 47,000 arrested through May that DHS disclosed last week. That number was more than double the previous 12 months.

Many of the young illegals come from Mexico and Central America. Immigration experts say they are fleeing poor economic conditions and widespread violence in their home countries, while Republicans charge that Obama administration policies are encouraging illegals to come to America.

Critics also have cited news reports in Central American media that create the impression of lax enforcement of immigration laws by administration.

In addition, more than 174,000 people — mostly from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala — have been arrested in Rio Grande Valley of Texas this year, according to DHS.

"After years of ignoring the law and sending a very dangerous message to Central American families, the administration is finally taking small steps to address this enormous problem," said Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn. "Now, it remains to be seen if the president will follow through."

Another Lone Star State Republican, gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott, called the situation there an "administrative-made disaster."

"What the administration must do is make clear [is to illegals], don’t risk your lives," said Abbott, the attorney general who is running against Wendy Davis, Politico reports. "No way should the U.S. have an open-door policy to Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras."

Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe toured a detention center for illegal minors on Friday at the Fort Sill Army Base in Lawton, about 85 miles southwest of Oklahoma City. About 600 children are housed there, and base officials have been told to prepare for as many as 1,400.

"Something must be done to secure our borders and to force the Obama administration to abide by our immigration laws," Inhofe said. "The flood of children coming to the border without parents is a humanitarian crisis, and the president is turning it into a national security issue by housing these individuals on our military installations."

Both House Speaker John Boehner and Arizona Rep. David Schweikert demanded that President Obama to deploy the National Guard to help stem the crisis. Some Democrats have also slammed the president for not moving faster on the issue.

"Arizona border patrol agents are telling us that some of their best trackers, some of their best folks, are now providing social services at the detention facilities to children,"Schweikert told "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV. "We need to shore up our border presence."


In his Newsmax interview, Babeu challenged the recent DHS figures, saying they actually were closer to 60,000.

"Because there is no longer any consequence or enforcement of the law when it comes to immigration, don't be scratching your head when 60,000 turns into 200,000 or more," he said. "They understand that if they get to the border, they're home free.

"That's the message that President Obama just sent to everyone — not just in Mexico, but throughout Central America."

He called the Biden session in Central America "window dressing" and spoke strongly for National Guard troops at the border.

Former President George W. Bush deployed thousands of troops to the border during his second term as the Border Patrol bolstered its ranks. The patrol has nearly doubled to more than 20,000 agents and the number of immigrants caught crossing the border illegally has declined overall.

Babeu, a retired Army National Guard officer who once commanded 700 soldiers, cited a two-year effort he worked on with U.S. agents to secure a portion of the border at Yuma, Ariz.

The program — "Operation Jump Start — cut illegal immigration and drug-smuggling by 98 percent, he said.

"What worked was armed soldiers," Babeu said. "We secured the border in Yuma."

That approach needs to be taken to secure the heavy-traffic sectors of the 2,000-mile border from California through Texas that the U.S. shares with Mexico, he said. Other necessary improvements include better fencing, lighting, sensors and security cameras.

"You have to have armed soldiers first — and you build the infrastructure necessary to secure the border at high-traffic areas. You don't need to build the 'great wall of Mexico,' of all 2,000 miles."

But none of this will be effective without stronger enforcement of the nation's immigration laws.

"There must be consequences for breaking the law," Babeu told Newsmax. "There is no enforcement of the law."

The Invasion Has Started. Central American Kids Coming Here Daily. Are You Prepared To Resist This Invasion?

If there ever will be something that finally motivates Americans to take action against this runaway government it will be the silent, Obama-encouraged invasion of America by children from Central America. Citizens of this country, while overly generous during times of need, should feel as if these kids are being dropped on their doorstep and Americans are expected to take care of them. 

The only explanation for this flood of children is that they have been encouraged by a) this administration's lax enforcement of the border and/or b) actual advertising or by activists in these countries encouraging parents to put their children on buses destined to the US. 

If one child reaches and settles in this country, we suspect that the plan is that he can then petition the US government to allow his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins to join him./her here. (Hey, we don't want to separate families!)  In this way one child might be able to bring 10-200 others into this country. Do the math. If each child only brought ten (which is probably low), and we already are approaching 50,000 children this year, that is another half million new immigrants. How soon will it be that this "child invasion" will bring 20-30 million new immigrants?

We suspect that all of these "anchor" children and most of those who are "invited" to rejoin them here, will come without few assets and little in the way of education or skills. In other words, they will become wards of the state taking valuable assets away from the rest of society to provide them with welfare, housing, food stamps (EBT cards), transportation, health care, education and the like.

Additionally, as we saw in previous posts today, even states like Virginia (which is not near the Southern border) are having children dropped in their laps. The story that has been fed to and regurgitated  by the lap dog media is that they are being housed on military bases in the Southwest. Obviously, that is another Obama Administration  lie as Lawrenceville, Virginia clearly exhibits.

Also, press reports by non-mainstream sources indicate that many of these illegals have communicable disease which have been eradicated in the US and which now will gain a foothold here. Is that what you want?

So we have potentially millions of uneducated, impoverished Central American peasants being brought to this country by who knows, for what purpose we can only suspect, and we are expected to jump and say "welcome?"  We don't think so.

It is time to a) close all borders to ALL Central Americans b) deport to Mexico anyone (central american, Hungarian, Middle Easterner) who did not come to this country legally regardless of age and c) tell Mexico that these immigrants are their problem and they should fix it. Our neighbor to the south is part of the problem as they let these people transit their country, it time they take responsibility.

The sad part is that the Obama Administration is the one encouraging the "invasion."  They will not act against their plan. They want America to implode and bringing millions of illegals here only expedites the time when our country falls. 

Are you going to do nothing? Or are you going to take action? Here is what we suggest.

First, we need to know where these illegals are being held. We cannot depend on the news media or the government to tell us the truth so we need citizen soldiers to report where they find these invaders. Once your find them, organize protests locally.

Next,  bring pressure on local officials to move them out of the area.  Individual citizens have more power when dealing locally. Take these people to task and demand the illegals be moved out of your town.

If  local pressure does not work, your last resort we will be to peacefully cut off re-supply of the bases, universities, warehouses and other locations where the illegals are being housed.  If you make it impossible to bring food and supplies, the government will either move them or take actions against those who impose the blockade. If you act peacefully as they did at the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, their extreme measures (which we are sure they will try sooner or later) will drag the news media to the scene where you can make your points and cast the Administration is the negative view that it needs to be.

Peaceful resistance is the key. The government does not know how to react to peace, they only know force and believe us when we say, they will use it.  

Or we could do  nothing, continue watching "Dancing With The Stars" or " Bachelorette" or your favorites football team while the country is invaded by the poor, illiterate and unhealthy of the world.  It is your choice. Ours is to go out and find the locations of the immigrants in our area.  Are you with us?

RICHMOND, Va. (TheBlaze/AP) — The government is shopping for a new location to temporarily shelter hundreds of Central American children after residents and officials of a tiny Virginia farm town angrily protested the secretive selection of their community.

In a statement issued Friday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services cited concerns in Lawrenceville, Virginia, in taking “this proposal off the table.” The department said it would immediately look elsewhere to “house these vulnerable children.”

Residents of the town in Virginia’s southern tobacco belt complained at first that they were kept in the dark, learning about the proposal only days before the children were to arrive.

Aaron Smith, a National Guard sergeant and former U.S. Marine, told administration officials at a public meeting this week that the community did not want to become the location of a large illegal immigrant shelter.

“We talk slow around here and with a twang. But we say what we mean,” he said. “Let me talk straight into your eyes: We don’t want you here.”

Another resident, Pam Thomas, cited safety concerns.

“Right now we have a town—I can go home. I can get supper. At 9 o’clock at night I can come back to my office by myself, go in there and do work, come out at 11:30, get in my car and never worry about being harmed. I can’t do that anymore if y’all come,” she said. “You can’t put them over there and it’s not a prison anymore. It’s a closed facility.”

Smith later praised the federal government for “doing what they told us they would do” and take the concerns of residents seriously.

They then voiced a range of other concerns, appealing to U.S. Sen. Mark R. Warner and other members of the state’s congressional delegation to come to their aid. The Democrat said it was “the right call.”

“Collaboration and local support is absolutely key for the success of a project like this,” he said in a statement to The Associated Press.

The decision came after officials overseeing the placement of a deluge of children and teenagers entering the U.S. met a hostile audience Thursday. The government had brokered a deal with St. Paul’s College, which closed one year ago and was founded after the Civil War to educate black men and women in the segregated South, to house up to 500 children in dormitories.

More than 47,000 children, primarily from Central America, have been apprehended at the Mexican border since the start of the budget year. The number of minors coming to the U.S. has soared, with administration officials saying it’s largely because of conditions in their home countries. But there’s also a belief among some of the migrants that they would be allowed to stay once in the U.S.

A contrite panel of federal officials came to town Thursday in hopes of salvaging the plan, but they were met with an angry crowd of 1,000 who crowded into a high school gymnasium. Many arrived with signs reading “No illegal immigrants.”

St. Paul’s President Millard “Pete” Stith said the visiting federal officials did a good job of dispelling rumors about the planned temporary shelter “other than they being Hispanic.”

Asked if he thought race was an issue, he said, “Yeah.”

Town and county officials, however, said the opposition was always based on serious concerns of public safety and security on the rolling, unsecured campus.

“As always, our first and foremost concern is with ensuring the safety and security of our town and in ensuring that our citizens are able to be involved in any major decisions that may impact our community,” Town Manager C.J. Dean wrote in an email Friday.

Stith had said the shelter plan would bring important federal money and other revenue to the town and help keep the school open. It’s up for sale and will run out of money by October. He acknowledged trust issues with local officials but said no one intended to “slip anything under the door.”

“But then after you apologize just forever, can there be a common ground?” he asked.

NEW YORK – Two US congressmen tell WND they believe the flooding of America’s Southwest border with thousands of illegal-alien children seeking government handouts and citizenship is the intended outcome of policies by the Obama administration derived from a strategy by radical sociologists to transform America into a socialist state.

In the 1960s, professors Andrew Cloward and Francis Fox Piven of Columbia University, Obama’s alma mater, devised a plan to provoke chaos by deliberately overwhelming governmental systems and the US economy to the point of collapse, paving the way for state intervention that would ultimately replace America’s free-enterprise republic with a collectivist system.

“I do feel this attempt to flood the border with illegals is a playing out of the Cloward-Piven theory,” said Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.

Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, agreed that Obama – who studied the chaos strategy at Columbia, according to a classmate — “is trying to do a Cloward-Piven thing with the border.” “Obama follows all the far-left, Leninist, socialist-type stuff,” Stockman told WND.

He said it’s “an open secret Obama is trying to flood Texas with illegals to make it into a blue state,” with a Democrat majority. “If we lose Texas, and it becomes like California, then the Republicans lose the chance of ever getting a Republican elected president,” the Texas lawmaker warned.

Among the policies allegedly attracting illegal aliens is Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which allows some illegals who came to the US as children to defer deportation.

In the meantime, Obama’s foreign policy has also been a deliberate calculated disaster. Stockton continued, “All that blood and treasury and Iraq is going to al-Qaida,” he said, referring to news Wednesday that a second city has fallen to al-Qaida-inspired Islamic militants.

“And don’t forget Libya. We have the black flag of al-Qaida flying over Libya now, and if Obama had his way, we’d also have the Muslim Brotherhood in charge of Egypt,” he said.

Stockman also criticized Obama’s diplomacy in Egypt, saying he “was rude to the Egyptian leader,” President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who is working with Israel to remove terrorists from the Sinai.

“The whole Middle East is going to become a radical Islamic State,” he said.

Eric Cantor has lost his spot on Capitol Hill.

After Tuesday’s Congressional primary in Virginia’s 7^th District, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, heir apparent to Speaker John Boehner’s Republican House throne, is available for speaking engagements, corporate events and children’s birthday parties. In fact, now that Cantor has been defeated by previously unheralded conservative economist Dave Brat, it looks like the Republican old guard’s loss will be some cake-eating K Street lobbying firm’s gain.

Cantor’s defeat has sent the appropriate shockwaves through the political establishment. A senior member of the Republican Party, one of the self-described “young guns” and a man who presumably should have been less than halfway into a career inside the Beltway, is out on the street. Republicans who overestimated the quality of protection afforded by big-money donors while underestimating the power of individual voters to see past the dollar signs are quaking in their wingtips. Political consultants’ phones are exploding as terrified multi-term lawmakers realized they didn’t know how to speak “middle-class.” Manicured fingernails are being chewed down the nubs as candidates who thought their seats were locked down realize they’re going to have to venture out of their Washingtonian luxury and actually visit their districts — and not just to play golf, cut a few ribbons and charm a few grandmothers out of their Social Security checks.

But the real cowering ought to be taking place across the aisle — and not just because House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s latest Botox treatment made her look like a blowfish in anaphylactic shock. Brat just thumped Cantor, largely as a result of Cantor’s refusal to hold to conservative principles. And the Democrats, whose own grip on Senate power is slipping as fast as Majority Leader Harry Reid’s tenuous grasp on sanity, ought to be quivering like frightened schoolgirls. Brat won an intrasquad scrimmage. His victory doesn’t open the door for the Democrats, whose own 7^th District candidates included a guy named Mike Dickinson who makes the Taliban look like NARAL. Instead, it sounds an alarm that the conservatives, whose recent defeats were cheered by Democrats as a sign that conservatism was dying, are actually alive and kicking — hard.

The voters who backed Cantor fervently enough to help rocket him up the Congressional ladder just pink-slipped him for failing to hold the line on immigration. As President Barack Obama stockpiles desperate illegal aliens in Arizona like human livestock, Cantor failed to stand up for both the law and for the basic human dignity Obama’s obvious and cravenly voter-recruitment drive has sacrificed in the name of crass electioneering. Anyone with a soul finds the images from Obama’s illegal Arizona concentration camps repellent. Cantor’s tacit support of immigration amnesty told voters that such images would become the norm.

The voters who backed Cantor watched as Obama defrauded the Nation with his dead-in-the-starting-gate donkey Obamacare, and they watched as Cantor backed off repeal. The voters who watched as Obama’s economic pogroms put a record 92 million people out of work also watched as Cantor failed to staunch the bleeding. Even as Obama and his accomplices brazenly lied about everything from political use of the Internal Revenue Service to political use of a known deserter, Cantor and the GOP establishment did little more than bleat weakly in protest.

Yet the voters in Virginia’s 7^th didn’t react to Cantor’s political impotence by lurching to the left. Instead, they pulled hard to starboard. It stands to reason that the bulk of the voters in Virginia’s 7^th, while far from the most rock-ribbed in America, are conservative enough to have given Cantor room to move up. And we’re talking about Virginia’s 7^th, not Texas’s 13th.

Brat’s victory might well be a fluke. Not long ago, a series of establishment victories like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s near-walkover in Kentucky had pundits from The New York Times to the San Francisco Chronicle penning obituaries for conservatism. Yet with Obama’s approval ratings hovering between “ouch” and “do you smell something?” the same people who sent Cantor to Washington just benched him in favor of an even more conservative player. If the GOP establishment — not to mention the Democratic ruling elite — is banking on the idea of Brat representing a fluke, then it’s in bigger trouble than I thought.

“It’s the Battle of the Bulge down there, and you send in George Patton and the Third Army to relieve the surrounded 101st Airborne,” King said.

Hurricane-force

A flood of illegal-aliens children enticed by Obama policies favorable to minors has escalated to a “crisis of the federal government’s creation,” Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has charged.

The nearly 1,000 illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America crossing into Texas each day is being compared to Hurricane Katrina by overwhelmed officials.

“How do you prepare for that?” said Don Ray, the executive director of the Texas Border Sheriffs Coalition. “You can’t have an influx of people like that without having an impact.”

Ray told KRLD-TV in Dallas-Ft. Worth that similar to the aftermath of Katrina, relocation services are in operation.

“In the case of Katrina, most of them were United States citizens or people that were here lawfully, and now you have people that aren’t here lawfully.”

History lesson

Stockman told WND his office conducted a study showing that California’s transformation into a Democrat-majority state was directly related to the 1986 amnesty bill passed by Democrats in Congress under Republican President Ronald Reagan.

“After Reagan did this, the illegal immigrants voted Democrat,” he noted. “Still our party thinks, ‘They’re going to love us after we do this,’ but it hasn’t been borne out by the history.”

Stockman criticized former George W. Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer, now a GOP consultant, for advising Republican candidates to back “immigration reform,” which, as currently conceived in Congress, includes some form of amnesty for illegal aliens living in the U.S.

Fleischer “never ever ran a campaign,” said Stockman, “and yet he’s an expert in campaigns.”

“It’s absurd. We’re the crew taking orders from a guy who’s never been on a boat, yet he’s the captain of the boat – and yet he’s giving directions,” he said.

Stockman sees the Cloward-Piven chaos theory at work in Obama’s foreign policy as well.

“All that blood and treasury – and Iraq is going to al-Qaida,” he said, referring to news Wednesday that a second city has fallen to al-Qaida-inspired Islamic militants.

“And don’t forget Libya. We have the black flag of al-Qaida flying over Libya now, and if Obama had his way, we’d also have the Muslim Brotherhood in charge of Egypt,” he said.

Stockman also criticized Obama’s diplomacy in Egypt, saying he “was rude to the Egyptian leader,” President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who is working with Israel to remove terrorists from the Sinai.

“The whole Middle East is going to become a radical Islamic state,” he said.

Cantor defeat about immigration

King said the shocking primary defeat Tuesday of House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor in Virginia was about immigration.

“The voters stepped up and supported a candidate who has done an excellent job of articulating how important it is to restore the rule of law as a component of American exceptionalism,” he said, referring to tea-party candidate David Brat.

Cantor has expressed support for the principles of Obama’s proposed DREAM Act, which would grant amnesty to illegal aliens who came to the U.S. as children.

“The establishment will try to spin this, but Cantor’s loss reflects a voter rejection of amnesty, and it should put the brakes on any effort to move amnesty legislation in the House,” King said.

Stockman said the “key to Cantor losing was that the conservatives – including talk radio – united behind one candidate instead of what happened in my race where you had different people on our side supporting different GOP candidates.”

He noted the Senate Republican primary in South Carolina in which incumbent Sen. Lindsay Graham won the nomination against six opponents was similar.

“As long as we fight among ourselves, we lose,” Stockman said.

He emphasized that Cantor’s loss “killed immigration (legislation), and we need to keep getting that message out.”

Stockman said that in an interview with the Associated Press, the reporter insisted it was Democrat voters crossing over that defeated Cantor.

But Stockman said a study by his office found that Brat actually received fewer votes in Democrat areas than Mitt Romney did in the 2012 election.

“So, it’s a spin they’re trying to put out here to keep the thing alive,” the Texas congressman said.

King said regarding immigration that House Republicans may “put up a fight” for a time, “but we have telegraphed that we will cave in rather than hold our ground.”

He said it remains to be seen whether or not Republicans will coalesce around a new House majority leader willing to take a strong stand against amnesty.

“I will not support anyone for leadership who supports amnesty,” he declared.
