What Other President Would Write Such A Letter--Bravo Trump!

Trump slams Chuck Schumer in White House letter

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., sent a formal letter to President Donald Trump this week demanding answers on the White House’s use of the Defense Production Act.
Schumer urged Trump to appoint a “military czar” to oversee the production of much-needed medical gear. Trump’s response quickly went viral — and Schumer said he was “appalled” by the president’s stinging letter.
“Dear Senator Schumer: Thank you for your Democrat public relations letter and incorrect sound bites, which are wrong in every way,” the letter started.
Trump’s letter pointed out that his work with the private sector was going so well he didn’t need to lean on the full powers of the Defense Production Act.
He also pointed out that the White House had already appointed U.S. Navy Rear Admiral John Polowczyk to oversee the effort — which Schumer should have known.
“If you spent less time on your ridiculous impeachment hoax, which went haplessly on forever and ended up going nowhere (except increasing my poll numbers), and instead focused on helping the people of New York, then New York would not have been so completely unprepared for the ‘invisible enemy.’ No wonder AOC and others are thinking about running against you in the primary. If they did, they would likely win,” Trump wrote.
“Fortunately, we have been working with your state and city governments, Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill DeBlasio, to get the job done. You have been missing in action, except when it comes to the ‘press.’ While you have stated that you don’t like Andrew Cuomo, you ought to start working alongside him for the good of all New Yorkers. I’ve known you for many years, but I never knew how bad a Senator you are for the state of New York, until I became President,” he continued.
Trump concluded the letter by saying his door was open if Schumer had any further questions.
“Or, in the alternative, call Rear Admiral Polowczyk. Sincerely yours, Donald Trump.”

Shame On Schumer And Pelosi--Where Is Their Humanity?

Chuck Schumer SILENCED by angry moms [video]

Americans are growing sick and tired of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s endless political games — and one angry group of moms stormed his office on Tuesday to demand answers from the New York Democrat.
The group of seven women were “Angel Moms.” Each one has lost a child to an illegal immigrant, and they traveled to Washington, D.C. to demand that Schumer and his political allies end the shutdown and build the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Schumer refused to come out and meet them. The group had marched over from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office, where they’d demanded she also come and answer their questions.
The liberal lawmaker sent her aide to lie to the moms and claim she wasn’t available. Pelosi was hiding inside her office at the time.
The group said it was insulting that the anti-wall politicians refused to meet with them.
“It’s a slap. It’s a stab. It’s a kick in the gut and in the groin,” Sabine Durden told Fox News. Her son, Dominic, was struck and killed by an illegal alien in 2012.
“Meet me face to face! Give me five minutes,” she asked Pelosi. “I just want to, mother-to-mother, look you in the eyes and ask you if you want to feel this way.”

You can see the powerful video of the mom’s protest inside Schumer’s office here —
“It’s not a matter of if you’re going to be affected by illegal alien crime — it’s when you are going to be affected,” warned Mary Ann Mendoza.

Her son, 32-year-old police officer Brandon Mendoza, was killed when an illegal immigrant crashed into him going the wrong way, drunk, down a highway in Arizona in 2016.
“I’m tired of being insulted and re-victimized by politicians who don’t speak up for us,” Durden said about Democratic lawmakers. “They speak up for illegals, for law-breakers.”

Democratic Response Was So Bad That Even Democrats Can't Defend It

Watch Carville Dems’ Horrible Response to Trump: Colonoscopies More Exciting Than Schumer

Watch as Embarrassed Carville Savages Schumer, Pelosi's Wasted Response to Trump

It’s so widely accepted that Democrat leadership had a terrible response to President Donald Trump’s Oval Office address Tuesday night that even left-wing political commentators are making fun of it.
After Trump’s impassioned, articulate speech on border security, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer responded with their own address.
However, virtually nobody is talking about what Pelosi and Schumer said in their response — which was standard Democratic pablum. Everybody is focused on their ridiculous appearance.

Pelosi and Schumer stood uncomfortably close together in front of a single small podium — inviting comparisons that were hardly complimentary.
Visually speaking, it seems like the Democrats didn’t put any effort into the production at all.

Do you think the Democrats' response was bad?

By contrast, Trump sat at his desk in the Oval Office and sent a powerful message.
Tuesday night, political commentators James Carville, a longtime Clinton associate, and Michael Steele, the former Republican National Committee chairman, joined reliably liberal MSNBC host Brian Williams to discuss Trump’s address on the “The 11th Hour.”
It was clear that even a left-wing network like MSNBC thought the Democrats lost the image battle.

“Tell me why responses are so bad tonight, this Chuck and Nancy visual tonight launched 1,000 memes while they were still talking,” Williams asked.
For a PR pro like Carville, his own party’s performance could only be embarrassing. It was so bad, he didn’t even attempt to defend the Democrats’ response.

“I don’t think they should have done it and I guarantee you at the staff meeting tomorrow morning, somebody is going to get, you know, chewed out pretty good,” he said laughing, possibly to ease the sting.
If anybody should get “chewed out” it should be Schumer and Pelosi. Ultimately, the responsibility lies on Democrat leadership to provide a compelling response.

Carville tried to use humor to deflect the failure of Schumer and Pelosi’s response.
“They could have given the Gettysburg Address and it wouldn’t have mattered. It was — he didn’t want to be there,” Carville said.
“I’ve been more excited about colonoscopies than he was giving the speech tonight.”
That’s not what Democratic leadership wants to hear from party loyalists.
The night might have featured humor instead of jabs, but even an attack dog like Carvill was unable to deny the sobering reality of Schumer and Pelosi’s failure.

Good For Him!!

UPDATED:
WASHINGTON (WTHR) — Congressional leaders from both parties have returned to the White House for another round of negotiations with President Donald Trump on the ongoing partial government shutdown.
The two sides have made no apparent progress in the past week, with Trump sticking to his demand of $5.7 billion for a border barrier and Democrats insisting they won't give him the money.
Trump has been making a public case that there is a "crisis" at the southern border. And he's still threatening to declare a national emergency to circumvent Congress if he can't get the wall money from them.
He told reporters during a visit to the Capitol earlier Wednesday that he may turn to a declaration "at some point" if top Democrats Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi "don't agree" with his assessment about the problems at the border.
President Trump tweeted Wednesday afternoon the meeting with Chuck and Nancy was a total waste of time.
