ISIS Recruiting for Chefs, Auto Mechanics, Bomb-Makers, Fitness Trainers

Over the past few days, ISIS supporters have been circulating job openings in the Islamic State ranging from bomb maker to chef and fitness trainer.

The online posting was pulled from the "Message Of A Mujahid" video released this past spring by jihadist Abu Sa'eed Al-Britani -- aka Omar Hussain, a former grocery employee from southern England.

Hussain frequently writes PR, including an appeal for doctors to come to the Islamic State and a detailing of the "culture clash" that Western jihadis experience in the caliphate, including Arabs who walk off with other guys' shoes and Chechens who throw their weight around.

In his listing of 10 jobs in the Islamic State, Hussain acknowledges that not everyone who might want to come join ISIS wants to fight, though "the distinction between a boy and a man is the act of fighting."

Not surprisingly given the priority ISIS places on media, the first job listed is in this realm -- given, he argues, ISIS' need to push back on the mainstream media. "All praise is due to Allah that Dawlah [Islamic State] has a strong foot on the media, but imagine if there was no internal media from us, so many misconceptions would be unanswered, so many arguments would not have been refuted. We would be totally silent in the face of the vicious onslaught from the media."

Hussain then recruits for ISIS' healthcare sector, noting that their hospitals are sometimes "packed" and sometimes "the assistance, care and supervision of many brothers goes unchecked" due to a lack of doctors and assistants, including ISIS members who have been disabled in fighting.

"I do not wish to sound harsh, but my brother please fear Allah, stop treating the Kuffar [disbelievers] and come treat the wounds of your brothers," he says.

Next on the recruitment list: chefs.

The kitchens where cooking is done for the jihadists "are about 30km behind enemy lines so it's safe from all firing," Hussain explains.

To make sure that food, supplies, weapons and fighters are transported to the front lines, ISIS also wants mechanics to keep up their fleet of white pickups. "Vehicles play a big role in the work we do. Indeed it is a vital tool for a mujahid in all aspects of daily life," he notes.

"And many times while driving over rocky terrain or over fields, and the continuous usage, they get damaged and parts get broken. So our own mechanics are very useful. Being a mechanic at the Dawlah garage is very handy and also a very rewardable job. So if you know mechanics, work in the Dawlah garage and assist the mujahidin with your skills."

And then there's the bomb-making department.

"Ever wondered who assembles the cars and trucks that the brothers drive for their martyrdom operations? Ever wondered who makes the explosive belts? Ever wondered who places bombs on the roads between us and the enemy? The brothers in the bomb making department are the core and backbone of nearly every operation," says Hussain. "...Imagine the reward in preparing a car packed with explosives for a brother to go detonate in enemy lines; you would get the same reward as the brother who pushes the button and sends 50 kuffar to hell."

Others are needed just to man checkpoints around ISIS territory "where we mostly catch evil doers trying to smuggle" banned items such as cigarettes. "A fun and rewarding job indeed," promises Hussain.

Next he makes a pitch to teachers: "Imagine the reward in nurturing a child upon tawhid and jihad."

"The mujahidin spilt their blood for the establishment of the state, so the least we can do in appreciation and gratitude for them is to help bring up their kids with the correct Islamic teachings," he notes.

And ISIS wants everybody from jurists to office clerks to work in the Sharia courts. "Oh, and spies get executed on the spot, so good luck to any kafir reading this who thinks he can get in!" Hussain adds.

The ninth job is something Hussain says he tried himself in Raqqa "and it is a very enjoyable task": Islamic police. "They are the ones who carry out the public lashings and beheadings," he says. "They walk the streets with their sticks, punishing all those who break the law."

Finally, Hussain stresses that the Islamic State could use a few good personal trainers.

"Some brothers come in with a lot of extra 'barakah' [blessings] on them which needs to be burnt off, likewise some training camps also teach grappling, knife attacks and defenses, as well as all sorts of other defense tactics," he said. "These are very important for a mujahid to learn and if you are good at any of these, you could train the new brothers in these camps. Fitness is important and if you want you can be every new mujahid’s first personal trainer."

“I feel betrayed by Britain. I came here to get away from this and the situation is worse here than in the country I escaped from.” She has every reason to feel betrayed. Instead of insisting that Muslims in Britain renounce polygamy (sanctioned by Qur’an 4:3), the beating of disobedient women (sanctioned by Qur’an 4:34), and the inequality in inheritance rights (sanctioned by Qur’an 4:11), the self-deluded dhimmis allowed all these things and more to be brought into the country, and normalized via the Sharia courts.

A Peer is calling for a judge-led inquiry into Sharia courts, in a revealing new report on discrimination against Muslim women across Britain.

In the report, Baroness Cox also outlines the provisions of her Private Members’ Bill, which would curb the growth of quasi-legal systems such as Sharia courts, in England and Wales.

She is seeking to re-introduce the Bill in the next session of Parliament.

Abuse

Her report, published by conservative think-tank The Bow Group, refers to Sharia court policies on inheritance, polygamy, access to divorce and domestic violence that have adversely affected British Muslim women.

The report includes testimonies from women who have been subjected to various forms of abuse, including one woman who said: “I feel betrayed by Britain. I came here to get away from this and the situation is worse here than in the country I escaped from”.

According to the report, many Muslim women can be left unaware of their legal rights or feel under pressure not to seek professional help that could bring ‘shame’ or ‘dishonour’ on their families or communities.

‘Coercion’

Baroness Cox said: “We cannot continue with the present situation where vulnerable women are suffering from coercion, intimidation or unfairness.”

She welcomed Theresa May’s commitment to conduct an “independent review” of Sharia courts, but warned “it is imperative that such measures are not so broadly defined that they catch innocent behaviour or impact on people’s religious liberties”.

Instead, she is calling for an independent judge-led inquiry into Sharia courts….

Islamic law. It’s everywhere you don’t want to be.

The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), which has seized control of territory in northern Syria, has reportedly committed horrific abuses in its prisons in the region.

Sources told Amnesty that some of those imprisoned by ISIS are as young as eight years old. Witnesses reported seeing teenagers being tortured, including a 14-year-old boy who was given 90 lashes during an interrogation.

Prisoners have also reportedly been tortured with electric shocks.

Those who are given a trial face a Sharia court (court of Islamic law) overseen by a judge who regularly shows up to court wearing a bomb belt, according to the report. Trials often last just minutes; some of the “sham” trials end with summary executions.

Ah the majesty of Islamic law. It really does make for a more moral society. Let’s hear some more about how Islamic Law is making Syria a better place.

Some of those held by ISIS are suspected of theft or other crimes; others are accused of “crimes” against Islam, such as smoking cigarettes or zina, sex outside marriage.

On one occasion, an anguished father had to endure screams of pain as ISIS captors tormented his son in a nearby room. Two detainees related how they witnessed a child of about 14 receive a flogging of more than 90 lashes during interrogation at Sadd al-Ba’ath, an ISIS prison in al-Raqqa governorate.

Smoke a cigarette and you commit a crime against Islam. Now I know why liberals love Islam.

The Sadd al-Ba’ath prison is beside a dam on the Euphrates River at al-Mansura, where the local Shari’a court judge, who invariably appeared wearing an explosives belt, has instituted a reign of terror over its detainees.

Bomb belts are now a fashion accessory among the trendier aspirational martyr who is busy martyring others.

Former detainees accuse him of presiding over grotesquely unfair “trials” lasting no more than a few minutes as other detainees look on, and handing down death penalties which are subsequently carried out. At his direction, detainees have been mercilessly flogged; on at least one occasion, he is said to have personally joined in the flogging.

I’m sure it’s Koran-approved.

“The Turkish government, in particular, should prevent its territory being used by ISIS to bring in arms and recruits to Syria,” said Philip Luther.

The Turkish government is linked to Al Qaeda. Erdogan’s rogue Islamist regime has been backed by Obama and the European Union. So Amnesty might want to tell it to them.

Another man, aged 20, told Amnesty International that masked ISIS gunmen abducted him from the street in a crowded part of the al-Bab neighbourhood of northern Aleppo

They [the masked gunmen] dragged me into a yellow taxi, and I was surprised that the driver was also masked, and they drove off. They blindfolded me… Then the driver said, ‘Let us get closer to Allah by killing him.’ He stopped the car, and I could hear that he loaded a rifle and said, ‘Say the shahada [the Islamic creed] because you’ll die.’ I didn’t say anything. He repeated it but I did not respond. I was not scared. I was detained by the regime before

Now that’s a man with courage.

One was about eight years old; the other was 14. As they pushed them into the cell, one of the guards shouted “Teach this donkey how to pray”, in reference to the younger of the two boys, who was crying and continued weeping in the cell.

Such religious folks these Al Qaeda fighters are.

Another detainee held there at the time described the same incident and said:  “I counted 94 lashes falling on this child… and then I could count no more.”

Islam's Marriage Inequality--Where is NOW?

For all of those who still believe that Sharia Law frees women, please read the following first person article from England and decide if this is the way  females in the US should be treated. We do not think you will feel the same way after reading.

But, where is the National Organization of Women (NOW)? Why are they not at the forefront of protests against Sharia? Why are they not supporting laws that ban the use of Sharia Courts? The answer is that NOW is a left leaning political organization that does NOT have the best interests of American Women in mind. They are blinded by ideology and  would never accept any support from any conservative person or organization. 

This is truly a shame on the organization for if it really had the best interests of women, it would take support from whomever and where ever they could get it. Anyone who supports NOW and any other organization that does not stand up for females should end their financial aid and place it with those who will do the right thing.

Sex and Sharia: Muslim women punished for failed marriages

Today I received another telephone call from a young Muslim woman, Nasrin, who pleaded with me to help her obtain an Islamic divorce. After fleeing a forced marriage characterised by rape and physical violence, Nasrin applied for an Islamic divorce from a Sharia council; that was almost 10 years ago now. Despite countless emails, letters and telephone calls to the Sharia council as well as joint mediation and reconciliation meetings, the Sharia council refuse to provide Nasrin with an Islamic divorce. Why? Because of Nasrin’s sex. An Imam at the Sharia council told Nasrin that her gender prevents her from unilaterally divorcing her husband, instead the Imam told her to return to her husband, perform her wifely duties and maintain the abusive marriage that she was forced into.

Having represented Muslim women pro bono at Sharia law bodies across the UK to obtain Islamic divorces, I am all too aware of the gender discriminatory experience many Muslim women suffer at some Sharia councils and Muslim Arbitration Tribunals (‘Sharia law bodies’). Unfortunately their experiences have not been highlighted by the media. Instead some Sharia law bodies have been misrepresented by the media as being transparent, voluntary and operating in accordance with human rights and equality legislation. This is not the case.

Many Sharia law bodies rule on a range of disputes from domestic violence to child residence all of which should be dealt with by UK courts of law. Having observed Sharia law bodies ruling on legal disputes it is all too apparent that they operate within a misogynist and patriarchal framework which is incompatible with UK legislation. For instance, the cost of an Islamic divorce is £400 for a woman compared to £200 for a man at the Islamic Sharia Councilin East London; this is an example of blatant gender discrimination which is incompatible with the Equality Act 2010.

With over 85 Sharia law bodies operating in the UK, the majority of which charge vulnerable and impoverished Muslim women astronomical fees, Sharia law bodies have become successful and lucrative businesses. For instance the Islamic Sharia Council rules on over 500 Islamic divorces per annum at a cost of £400 for every woman applicant, equating to an annual turnover of £200,000 for Islamic divorces only. If we consider the additional legal disputes they rule upon it is likely some Sharia law bodies have an annual turnover of over £500,000. The majority of women I represent can barely afford a £15 weekly shop let alone £400 for an Islamic divorce. These destitute women have been forced to pawn their jewellery and take out loans from dangerous loan sharks in order to pay for Islamic divorces that are not even guaranteed and ultimately to fund a service that is pricing women out of the Sharia law market.

Diana Nammi, founder of the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation explained that “Sharia law bodies are money-spinning businesses because they afford men more rights than women unlike UK law which is underpinned by a fundamental principle of ‘equality for all’. In most cases women do not receive any practical advice or assistance to help them exit abusive marriages, and instead face further discrimination perpetrated by Sharia ‘judges’”.

According to Anne-Marie Hutchinson OBE, partner of Dawson Cornwell a leading family law solicitors firm, “women are forced to apply for Islamic divorces from Sharia law bodies to end their marriages unlike men who are in a position of power as they only have to pronounce talaq (divorce) three times to end their marriages”. However, this is not a quick process, it is time consuming and emotionally draining for many women including Nasrin who applied for an Islamic divorce almost 10 years ago.

By protracting the time it takes for women to obtain Islamic divorces, Sharia law bodies are punishing women for their failure to maintain miserable marriages, and in Nasrin’s case an abusive forced marriage which was flawed from its incept. Rather than freeing Muslim women from the shackles of unhappy marriages they are kept in limbo and are expected to mourn their destructive marriages and to reflect on their failures as wives and mothers. Worryingly some Sharia law bodies are growing cynical business enterprises, which use their position of power to maintain unequal gender relations while profiteering on the misery of Muslim women.

Anne-Marie Waters, Spokesperson for One Law for All commented – “the very process employed by Sharia law bodies is gender discriminatory, flawed and incompatible with UK legislation”. For instance, unlike male divorce applicants, women are requested to bring along two Muslim, male witnesses to corroborate their testimony. I have yet to represent a Muslim woman who is able to comply with this gender discriminatory requirement that is contrary to the Equality Act 2010. Not only are such requirements near impossible to adhere to, but they also reflect Sharia law bodies’ ideology that women are second class citizens. A stark comparison can be drawn between the way in which women are perceived as lacking capacity to give evidence before Sharia law bodies and their inability to give evidence in court to substantiate their own cases in Dickensian times. Women were treated as criminals not citizens in Dickensian times; their belonging to society was rejected as they were portrayed as mad and bad because of their gender. Sharia law bodies are a 21^st century example of the patriarchal Dickensian period that eventually prompted the early Suffragettes to engage in feminist activism to bring about gendered change.

Where are the Suffragettes now that we need them? Fortunately we have Baroness Cox’s Bill, which aims to prevent Sharia law bodies from ruling on family and criminal matters. With collective action from politicians, lawyers, human rights and women’s rights organisations it is hoped that Muslim women will be better informed of their right to seek legal remedies under UK law instead of submitting to Sharia law bodies that promote and subsist in a patriarchal framework that runs parallel to UK law.
