At This Point If Trump Gives In To Schumer, He Will Never Get Anything Else From The Democrats

Schumer tells Trump to 'abandon' border wall plan amid government shutdown

Dems want to use drones, other tech instead

Senate Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) ordered President Donald Trump to "abandon the wall" Saturday, saying the president does not have the Senate votes required to fund it. His comments came hours after a partial government shutdown over a funding impasse on Trump's 2016 campaign promise to build a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

Could it pass in the Senate?

"It will never pass the Senate, not today, not next week, not next year," Schumer said from the Senate floor. "So President Trump, if you want to open the government, you must abandon the wall, plain and simple."
A partial shutdown of the government began at midnight Saturday after the House and Senate adjourned without a funding agreement. The shutdown could last a few days, both sides of the issue told Fox News. The Senate adjourned Saturday and is scheduled to meet again on Thursday.
Trump wrote on Twitter on Saturday: "I won an election, said to be one of the greatest of all time, based on getting out of endless & costly foreign wars & also based on Strong Borders which will keep our Country safe. We fight for the borders of other countries, but we won't fight for the borders of our own!"
The president also wrote that the border crisis is real and will not end without a wall or "steel barrier."
Vice President Mike Pence and acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney met at the Capitol on Saturday with Schumer in hopes of continuing negotiations that would end the stalemate, according to the report.
Productive discussions are ongoing, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told the news outlet.
"When those negotiations produce a solution that is acceptable to all parties — which means 60 votes in the Senate, a majority in the House, and a presidential signature — at that point, we will take it up here on the Senate floor," he said.
A Schumer spokesman indicated that "the vice president came in for a discussion and made an offer. Unfortunately, we're still very far apart."
The stalemate centers on was funding for Trump's signature 2016 campaign promise for a border wall to curb illegal immigration. The president wants $5.7 billion for the project. A bill that would fund it passed the House on Friday. Sixty votes are required in the Senate, which means Democratic votes are needed in addition to support from the GOP.

What else is proposed?

Schumer called Trump's plan a "bone to the hard right." Democrats are instead proposing $1.3 billion for "border security."
"I've heard the president and his allies in the media say that Democrats don't support border security," he said. "Nothing could be further from the truth. Democrats have always been for smart and effective ways to secure our border. We are pushing for technology, like drones and sensors, and inspection equipment."

Goaded by famous liberals including Jimmy Kimmel and Alyssa Milano,
unhinged leftists have sent a tidal wave of despicable threats to triple-amputee
 veteran Brian Kolfage.

On Thursday, Kimmel used his woke late night show to trash every single
one of the 260,000 people who have donated to Kolfage's GoFundMe,
calling them "dopey people" who are "dipping into their meth money."

Kolfage provided Gateway Pundit with unedited threats he received afterward

online – all for raising money for a cause he believes in.

Ralph Cramden asked the decorated veteran if his brain was amputated,
too. He proceeded to call Kolfage's wife a "blonde c--t."

Peter Lopez called Kolfage a "handicapped b---h," adding "I'm happy to
 see you in that wheelchair."

Another ideologue, Carlos Lopez, told the most severely wounded airmen
survive his injuries in Iraq that losing his limbs was "pre-karma."

Cathy Cruz called Kolfage "sick n pathetic!" and added that it's no wonder
he lost his limbs in Iraq.

Multiple people urged the veteran to commit suicide.

According to Veteran Affairs' suicide statistics, 16.8 veterans and 3.8
active-duty service members commit suicide every day.

For his part, Kolfage remains upbeat, telling Gateway Pundit:

"Liberals are showing their true colors again. When they don’t agree with something they go low… real low. And it’s because this generation has become weak immature brats who can’t handle a normal debate without being triggered by use of wrong pronouns or a white male; welcome to the real world where safe spaces don’t exist."

Anyone Who Believes That Venezeula Is A Socialst Mecca Had Better Take Another Look

Venezuelan Women Forced to Sell Hair, Sex, and Breast Milk to Escape Socialism
Fox News reports a harrowing scene in South America as a black market for women's hair, sex, and even breast milk crops up in Columbia as neighboring Venezuelan citizens desperately try to make any money they can while trying to survive a nation ravaged by the evils of socialism.
According to Fox News' Hollie McKay, "[t]housands upon thousands of Venezuelans pour into Colombia over the crowd cross-country bridge, their faces gaunt, carrying little more than a backpack. Rail-thin women cradle their tiny babies, and beg along the trash-strewn gutters. Teens hawk everything from cigarettes to sweets and water for small change."
Men hold signs or yell in crowds "Looking for hair. Buying hair," as if scalping tickets prior to a college football game. These men then make wigs from Venezuelan women's hair which they sell. As McKay reports, however, more saddeningly are the reports of child prostitution.
Amy Roth Sandrolini, "Chief of Staff at The Exodus Road, a U.S.-based organization devoted to fighting human trafficking globally," told Mckay that “[d]ue to the brutal economic situation in Venezuela, they come to Colombia looking for a job, or at least for shelter and basic care. But they usually end up selling candles or coffee at traffic lights. Where they also become vulnerable to being recruited, to become victims of human trafficking.”
Many of these victims of socialism are simply trying to raise money in order to buy medicine and vaccines.
“We can’t find any vaccines; we can’t find any medicines. Children in Venezuela are dying,” a 35-year-old Alberto Camacho told Fox News.  “I have to give my baby goat milk because baby formula is $12. It would take me three months to make $12.”
As a former Venezuelan political prisoner told McKay, “There is a human catastrophe in Venezuela. There is a resurgence of illnesses that were eradicated decades ago. Hundreds have died from measles and diphtheria. Last year, more than 400,000 Venezuelans presented malaria symptoms. Up to now, there are over 10,000 sick people from tuberculosis. People have been doomed to death. More than 55,000 cancer patients don’t have access to chemotherapy. Every three hours a woman dies due to breast cancer.”
Every single aspect of every Venezuelan's needs for basic survival is in jeopardy but, “The biggest concern is now food. 70 percent of people are facing steep food insecurity and acute malnutrition,” according to Miguel Barreto, the Regional Director for Latin America for the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP).
For a break down of how Venezuela ended here, Prager U's excellent video explains how a nation rich with resources and once vibrant culture can be destroyed by this far left ideology.
But, for a current look, Fox News' full report is well worth the read and should be shared with any American who advocates socialism and does not understand the horrors this system produces.

Michael Moore Is Weird

Michael Moore tops Christmas tree with Ruth Bader Ginsburg doll. Twitter's response is priceless.

Well that's not weird or anything

Most Americans place a star, angel, or another traditional Christmas symbol atop their Christmas trees. But this year, liberal documentary filmmaker Michael Moore decided to break with tradition.

What is Moore doing?

Instead of choosing a Christmas symbol, Moore has selected none other than Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg — well, a doll of the Supreme Court justice — to adorn the top of his tree.
Moore posted pictures of his tree topper to Twitter with the message: "My Christmas Tree Topper this year. Better than an angel or the star over Bethlehem. A nation of millions stand with you."
Moore did not provide additional context as for why he selected a Ginsburg tree topper this year. However, Moore's decoration announcement came the same day it was revealed the 85-year-old justice underwent surgery to remove cancerous nodules from her left lung.

What was the response?

It's no secret that Moore is a diehard liberal whose popular films advance progressive causes. However, many found his decoration creepy.
  • "Remarkably sad," one person said.
  • "Even on your tree, she leans to the left," another person said.
  • "Well that's disturbing," one person responded.
  • "I look forward to seeing her replacement up there next year," another person added.
  • "U truly need help!" one person exclaimed.
  • "Creepy obsession," another person said.
Ginsburg received an outpouring of support last week, even from President Donald Trump. Unfortunately, fears of Ginsburg's ailing health are highly political due to the implications her departure from the Supreme Court will have on the future of America, namely in allowing Trump to appoint his third justice to the high court.
