Retired Army colonel and Fox News military analyst Ralph Peters has a reputation for not mincing words, and calling things like he sees them. And true to form, he didn’t pull any punches with his critique of President Obama’s Sunday night speech about fighting ISIS.
Here’s what he told Fox News’ Stuart Varney:
“Varney: What was your commentary to the TV as the President’s speech unfolded?“Peters: First of all, he keeps speaking about, ‘we can’t give into our fears.’ Look Mr. President we’re not afraid, we’re angry! We’re pissed off! We’re furious! We want you to react, we want you to do something! You’re afraid! I mean this guy is such a total p***y it’s stunning!“This is a President who has done more harm to American police departments than he has done to [the] Islamic State. This is a President who restrains our military. He uses it not to defeat ISIS, but for political purposes, for political cover. This is a President who doesn’t want to hurt our enemies. He cares more about thugs in Guantanamo, or thugs in Ferguson, Missouri, than he does about law-abiding American citizens who want to live in safety and peace.”
Well said, Colonel Peters, well said. We wish that more Americans had the guts to say the harsh, politically-incorrect truth about the current occupant of the Oval Office.
Unfortunately, Colonel Peters was suspended for Fox News for two weeks because of his non-PC remarks. But we’re still proud of every word he said.
Do you agree with the colonel that Obama is a pandering wimp who cares more about America’s enemies than ‘we the people?’
