ICIG Admits it Changed Whistleblower Rules BECAUSE of the Anti-Trump Complaint

What a joke…
The Intelligence Community Inspector General (IGIC) has just confessed that it changed its rules regarding whistleblowing BECAUSE they wanted to help boost the baseless Ukraine whistleblower complaint against Donald Trump.
It all began when the IGIC recently changed its forms for whistleblowers between May 2018 and August 2019 so that a whistleblower NO LONGER needs direct, first-hand knowledge of the alleged wrongdoing that they are reporting.
This basically means that whistleblowers can now file complaints without being required to have any first-hand information about what they’re talking about. Whistleblowers can now just gossip and get away with it.
And the IGIC has just confirmed that their decision to change the rules was all an attempt to push an anti-Trump agenda.
According to a written statement by IGIC:
“In June 2019, the newly hired Director for the Center for Protected Disclosures entered on duty. Thus, the Center for Protected Disclosures has been reviewing the forms provided to whistleblowers who wish to report information with respect to an urgent concern to the congressional intelligence committees. In the process of reviewing and clarifying those forms, and in response to recent press inquiries regarding the instant whistleblower complaint, the ICIG understood that certain language in those forms and, more specifically, the informational materials accompanying the forms, could be read – incorrectly – as suggesting that whistleblowers must possess first-hand information in order to file an urgent concern complaint with the congressional intelligence committees.”
They actually ADMIT that they just wanted to help the complaint against Trump.
This is all the proof we need that the whole complaint is a joke. It wasn’t even a valid complaint – but intelligence officials decided to push it through anyway in an attempt to derail Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign.
The government is literally changing the rules of whistleblowing so that they can be allowed to push baseless conspiracies about Republican candidates. This is why need to drain the swamp more than ever before. Because unless we do, the intelligence community will continue to put our national security at risk over political squabbles. This needs to end.
