Obama's Legacy Is Set In Death And Destruction--In Aleppo
Conservative author and commentator Charles Krauthammer says President Barack Obama’s legacy is the utter chaos and destruction that is in Aleppo, Syria, as the result of a years-long civil war between Syrian dictator Bashar Assad and rebel forces trying to overtake the government.
“Obama imagines that the Obama [Iran] deal is his legacy. It is not. Aleppo is his legacy,” Krauthammer said on Fox News Thursday.
“History will remember this as kind of the symbolism of the whole policy of retreat and the inevitable outcome,” he added.
The outspoken Obama administration critic made the point that the Syrian civil war would have happened regardless of what the U.S. did. But, he added, how the U.S. handled the situation left much to be desired.
“The civil war was in a sense in equilibrium a year and a half ago when the Russians decided that their side, Assad, was losing. The rebels were actually on the advance in Aleppo and elsewhere. He stepped in to rescue Assad, then he saw that there was no response on the part of the West, no penalties whatsoever, even economic, coming from the United States and he decided to drive the advantage,” Krauthammer explained.

Hillary Being Set Up By Obama But There's More To This Story
In our opinion, Limbaugh is only half right. Yes, Obama is setting up Hillary but it is not to mess with his "legacy", it is to remove all the competitors for the Democratic candidacy in 2016. What? Yes, he wants to be "asked" to run again!
On the "legacy" side, he wants to continue to "change" America, to fully complete his idea of taking down the country, making it less of a leader and more of a follower in the world. You might be asking yourself, what else could he do? The brief answer is lots more!
However, the big reason is that he does not want to give up all the perks the office of President provide him. Why would anyone want to give up the free plane, free house, free golf, free vacations for him and his family plus still be getting a salary. He spends NOTHING out of his own pocket. Wow, what a wonderful life! There is no way that he could earn enough to provide the same benefits.
By the steady drip, drip, drip of information on Hillary, Obama is slowly making the country tired of her. We suspect that sometime in the spring, the Justice Department (with the approval of the White House) will be "pressured by public opinion" to bring charges against Hillary which will be the beginning of the end to her campaign which we suspect will be announced just before the Democratic Party convention.
At that point, Democratic leaders then will rush around to see who might fill the slot that Hillary was supposed to be, the candidate in 2016. There will be none that will be satisfactory and these same leaders will turn to Obama who will "reluctantly agree."
Republicans will scream loudly but will be defeated by their own ineptitude. What, you ask, are you talking about? First of all, our "esteemed" Speaker Boehner and Senate Leader McConnell have announced that there will be NO impeachment proceedings under their watch. If charges cannot be brought and a trial held, then Congress has given up its role to control the President by its Constitutionally granted power.
Additionally, the news media would be all over the "impeachment of the first black President." It would not be pretty and we suspect there would be a significant amount of "civil disruption" which could lead to martial law being declared which might be used as a cover to cancel the elections.
However, the beauty of Obama's plan is that there already is legal precedent to allow him to run for a third term. What is that? If you remember there were a number of lawsuits that were filed to make Obama prove that he was a "natural born citizen" which is a Constitutional requirement for anyone holding the office of President. Each one of those suits was turned down because the Plaintiffs did not have "standing" to bring the suit. In other words, they had not lost money, privilege, assets, reputation by the President not proving his eligibility for the office. Obama was never required to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was born in Hawaii and therefore meeting the requirement of being a "natural born citizen."
But you say, the 22nd Amendment says that a President cannot run for more than two terms and that would be true. However, who can bring suit that would show that his third (or for that matter fourth, fifth or sixth) term would cause that individual harm and therefore allow him "standing." The simple answer is no one!
So, if Congress cannot or will not act and the courts will not enforce the 22nd amendment, what is to stop Obama from running? Nothing!
We hope that we are wrong, however, the constant drip of information against Hillary can only be coming from the White House. We feel it is Obama trying to stay in office. What is your opinion?

The Obama White House may be behind the "drip, drip, drip" of negative stories being released about Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton because he doesn't want her to win and step on his legacy, says talk radio host Rush Limbaugh.
"I'm convinced that Obama doesn't want her messing with his legacy," Limbaugh said on Wednesday's show.
"Here's Obama, two years left. In his mind there's been no greater president," Limbaugh said.
"Look at all the firsts. Health care? People tried for 200 years and he got it. He stopped Iran from getting a nuke. (I know that's not what happened. That's the news, though. He did it.) He got us out of Iraq. (All lies. But that's the legacy. The media will write it for him.) What if Hillary comes along and does an even better job? He's not gonna permit that chance to happen."
Clinton is now trailing socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire, and a Democratic pollster released news on Tuesday that she trails four Republicans in Iowa.
On top of that, news that Obama's own Federal Bureau of Investigation has reportedly taken possession of the private email server Clinton used during her tenure as secretary of state. They might well decline to prosecute her, Limbaugh said, but just having an investigation about her server during her White House run will be damaging.
When a caller suggested the administration might just go through the motions of investigating her, but actually do nothing, Limbaugh pointed out that liberals are the ones releasing all the bad news.
"It's the liberals who've told us what was on Hillary's server. It's the liberals in the regime, who've proven Hillary lied, and yet now the theory is it's liberals trying to save her," he said.
"We wouldn't be here if liberals hadn't spilled the beans on this woman and her server in the first place."

The devil is not in the details. It’s in the entire conception of the Iran deal, animated by President Obama’s fantastical belief that he, uniquely, could achieve détente with a fanatical Islamist regime whose foundational purpose is to cleanse the Middle East of the poisonous corruption of American power and influence.
In pursuit of his desire to make the Islamic Republic into an accepted, normalized “successful regional power,” Obama decided to take over the nuclear negotiations. At the time, Tehran was reeling – its rial plunging, inflation skyrocketing, the economy contracting – under a regime of international sanctions painstakingly constructed over a decade.
Then, instead of welcoming Congress’ attempt to tighten sanctions to increase the pressure on the mullahs, Obama began the negotiations by loosening sanctions, injecting billions into Iran’s economy (which began growing in 2014), and conceding an Iranian right to enrich uranium.
It’s been downhill ever since. Desperate for a legacy deal, Obama has played the supplicant, abandoning every red line his administration had declared essential to any acceptable deal.
Inspections. They were to be anywhere, anytime, unimpeded. Now? Total cave. Unfettered access has become “managed access.” Inspectors will have to negotiate and receive Iranian approval for inspections. Which allows them denial and/or crucial delay for concealing clandestine activities

To give a flavor of the degree of our capitulation, the administration played Iran’s lawyer on this one, explaining that, after all, “the United States of America wouldn’t allow anybody to get into every military site, so that’s not appropriate.”

Apart from the absurdity of morally equating America with the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism, if we were going to parrot the Iranian position, why wait 19 months to do so – after repeatedly insisting on free access as essential to any inspection regime?
Coming clean on past nuclear activity. The interim agreement that governed the last 19 months of negotiation required Iran to do exactly that. Tehran has offered nothing. The administration had insisted that this accounting was essential. How can you verify illegal advances in Iran’s nuclear program if you have no baseline?
After continually demanding access to their scientists, plans, and weaponization facilities, Secretary of State John Kerry two weeks ago airily dismissed the need, saying he is focused on the future, “not fixated” on the past. And that we have “absolute knowledge” of the Iranian program anyway – a whopper that his staffers had to spend days walking back.
Not to worry, we are told. The accounting will be done after the final deal is signed. (Shades of Nancy Pelosi and Obamacare) Which is ridiculous. If the Iranians haven’t budged on disclosing previous work under the current sanctions regime, by what logic will they comply after sanctions are lifted?
Sanctions relief. This was to be gradual and staged as the International Atomic Energy Agency certified Iranian compliance over time. Now we’re going to be releasing up to $150 billion as an upfront signing bonus. That’s 25 times the annual budget of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. Enough to fuel a generation of intensified Iranian aggression from Yemen to Lebanon to Bahrain.
Yet three months ago, Obama expressed nonchalance about immediate sanctions relief. It’s not the issue, he said. The real issue is “snapback” sanctions to be reimposed if Iran is found in violation.
Good grief. Iran won’t be found in violation. The inspection regime is laughable and the bureaucratic procedures endless. Moreover, does anyone imagine that Russia and China will reimpose sanctions? Or that the myriad European businesses preparing to join the Iranian gold rush the day the deal is signed will simply turn around and go home?
Nonnuclear-related sanctions. The administration insisted that the nuclear talks would not affect separate sanctions imposed because of Iranian aggression and terrorism. That was then. The administration is now leaking that everything will be lifted.
Taken together, the catalog of capitulations is breathtaking: spot inspections, disclosure of previous nuclear activity, gradual sanctions relief, retention of nonnuclear sanctions.
What’s left? A surrender document of the kind offered by defeated nations suing for peace. Consider: The strongest military and economic power on Earth, backed by the five other major powers, armed with what had been a crushing sanctions regime, is about to sign the worst international agreement in American diplomatic history.
How did it come to this? With every concession, Obama and Kerry made it clear that they were desperate for a deal.
And they will get it. Obama will get his “legacy.” Kerry will get his Nobel. And Iran will get the bomb.
