Yesterday, anonymous posted the following as a comment. It is an internal American Bankers Association memo regarding their approach to OWS. It is worth reading and thanks anonymous for posting it.

Glad to see you read the bank lobby memo. I posted that so that everybody who reads this blog will understand that the banks are organizing a counter-attack on OWS to create public misperceptions. I have only attended 3 OWS rallies so far, so I can't say much from personal experience. However, my impression is that 99.9% of the protesters do not come for the purpose of engaging police in violent combat. They come to exercise their First Amendment rights to peaceful assembly and free speech. On the other side, I have seen several clips where police assault unarmed protesters with clubs, tear gas, pepper spray. For example, did you see the clip where university students at U.C. Davis were sitting on the ground and getting sprayed in the eyes with pepper spray by the police?
ReplyDeleteOn the previous article, I agree with the author that there is a concerted effort by the banks (and media they control) to marginalize Ron Paul. They fear him because they know they can't buy him off. Notice how few questions the moderators ask him in these presidential "debates". Very annoying!
