President Trump on Saturday afternoon issued a second tweet in which he fleetingly mentioned violent clashes between white nationalists and protesters in Charlottesville, Va.
"Am in Bedminster for meetings & press conference on V.A. [Department of Veterans Affairs] and all that we have done, and are doing, to make it better-but Charlottesville sad!" Trump said in a tweet.

Trump first condemned the clashes on Twitter less than an hour before the second tweet.

Violence erupted in Charlottesville on Saturday morning ahead of a scheduled gathering by white nationalist and alt-right groups.
The rally was originally prompted by ongoing opposition to a city decision to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.
That violence prompted Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe to declare a state of emergency, as police marched on the scene ordering protesters to disperse.
Several elected officials, including the first lady, condemned the violent attacks hours before the president did.

Handler Is Openly Promoting A Coup. Isn't That Promoting Insurrection?

Comedian Chelsea Handler stirred controversy on social media Friday after she called for a military coup to overthrow President Donald Trump.
“To all the generals surrounding our idiot-in-chief…the longer U wait to remove him, the longer UR name will appear negatively in history,” Handler wrote on Twitter.

To all the generals surrounding our idiot-in-chief...the longer U wait to remove him, the longer UR name will appear negatively in history.

Handler’s comments come as political and military tension between the U.S. and North Korea escalates.
On Wednesday, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un threatened to attack the Western Pacific U.S. territory of Guam with missiles.
As TheBlaze reported, a North Korean news agency reported this week: “North Korea’s strategic force is ‘seriously examining the plan for an enveloping strike at Guam through simultaneous fire of four Hwasong-12 intermediate-range strategic ballistic rockets in order to interdict the enemy forces on major military bases on Guam and to signal a crucial warning to the U.S.'”
Trump has repeatedly responded to North Korea’s aggression with assurances that attacking the U.S., its territories or any of its allies is the last thing that Kim Jong-Un and the North Koreans will want to attempt.
“Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely. Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another path!” Trump wrote on TwitterFriday.
Handler’s comments were met with condemnation and mockery online.

Please, seek professional help in order to get over Hillary's election day loss. This isn't mentally healthy

Man Chelsea. Do you think before you tweet? You really want the military to overthrow the President? Think about that for a moment.

Syphilis caused Al Capone to go insane. Maybe you should head to the clinic, Chelsea, and get checked out.

Are you suggesting the military overthrow a sitting President?
Eh... Coups aren't cool Chelsea
What is wrong with you?

Handler is currently host of “Chelsea” on Netflix. She is a fierce opponent of Trump and was an ardent supporter of Hillary Clinton in last year’s presidential election.
The comedian’s comments came just days after she spoke out about the possibility of the U.S. resembling a military state:

America is in serious danger of becoming a military state.

*Four days later*

What America really needs is a good military coup.
