The Forgotten Issue--ISIS Is Still On The March. Lebanon Now In Their Sights

WASHINGTON – Northern Lebanon could fall into the hands of the Islamic jihadist army ISIS as battles between Sunni jihadist groups and the Lebanese army in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli portend even greater violence in coming weeks.
“The northern part of the country could explode in the next several weeks,” one Lebanese source who is closely monitoring developments told WND.
ISIS, which already has proclaimed large portions of Syria and Iraq as part of its Islamic “caliphate,” has stated it aims to take over all of the Levant, which not only would include Lebanon but all of Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Iraq, portions of southern Turkey and Israel.
Sources tell WND that as winter approaches, it is possible for a two-pronged attack in coming weeks from the north and from the Qalamoun mountain region in Syria. The offensive would place a combination of jihadist fighters from the al-Qaida-affiliated Jabhat al-Nusra Front and ISIS in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley in the heart of the country.
As winter approaches, sources say the ISIS jihadists in the Qalamoun Mountains near the Lebanese border will want to make their move to avoid becoming stranded.
The Bekaa Valley region, however, is controlled mainly by Shiites who are well-armed but see an increasing flow of Syrian refugees who could take up arms with the jihadist militants.
Currently, there are close to 2 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon living in squalid conditions in isolated camps with lack of fresh water and exposure to disease.
Lebanon itself has held the refugees at arm’s length and now is refusing to take on any more, even though one of main entry points from Syria into Lebanon, the Masnaa crossing, is teaming daily with refugees who want to escape the civil war.
Sources say the conditions add to the desperation of refugees who see no alternative to their current plight, making them susceptible to ISIS recruiting efforts, especially among the young people.
Swallowed up
The informed sources say concern is mounting that the northern portion of the country that encompasses Tripoli could be swallowed into the ISIS caliphate as the Lebanese army – along with the help of the Iranian-backed Lebanese Hezbollah – engage ISIS and al-Nusra fighters who also are aligned with another extreme Sunni jihadist group, the Abdullah Azzam Brigade.
Both al-Nusra and ISIS have taken captive some 20 Lebanese army soldiers and are using them as leverage. Each group, however, has executed a captured soldier to press demands for the release of captured jihadists who are in a prison in Beirut.
“If more Lebanese army troops are killed, it will definitely bring on an all-out Sunni-Shiite war,” one source told WND.
He indicated that Hezbollah fighters then will launch an all-out attack on Sunni strongholds as well as the Syrian refugee camps.
Another source said the strategy of ISIS and al-Nusra is to put the Lebanese army more into an urban warfare environment, increasing the chances of collateral damage to civilians. The objective is to portray the army and its Hezbollah ally as hostile to Sunnis.
To prepare for luring the Lebanese army into urban warfare, sources say ISIS and al-Nusra fighters have deployed themselves near army positions. Lebanese army checkpoints already have been attacked. Mosques in many of the Sunni-controlled towns are said to be supplied with arms.
It wouldn’t be the first time that Sunni jihadist fighters have taken on the Lebanese army.
Beginning in May 2007, the Lebanese Internal Security Forces, the ISF, confronted the al-Qaida-affiliated Fatah al-Islam at the Nahr al-Bared Sunni Palestinian camp a few miles from the Lebanese city of Tripoli.
For some three months, the ISF shelled the camp, with most of the inhabitants fleeing to nearby Palestinian refugee camps in Tripoli, Beirut and Saida, or Sidon.
Nahr al-Bared is the home of some 30,000 displaced Palestinians. Fighters of Fatah al-Islam allegedly had robbed a bank and had hidden out at the Palestinian camp, which like many similar camps are overpopulated. They have a very high rate of unemployment and are home to many jihadist groups, including al-Nusra, Abdullah Azzam Brigades and ISIS.
Sources tell WND that ISIS already may have some 40 cells spread out in Sunni-dominated regions of Lebanon.
The jihadist group seeks to protect the Sunni areas from the Shiite Hezbollah, which has been sending its own fighters into Syria to help prop up the embattled regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a Shiite-Alawite allied with Shiite Iran.
Declaration of war
Earlier this year, al-Nusra had “declared war” on the Lebanese army, which had manned checkpoints in Syria and accused the army of permitting Hezbollah fighters to pass to fight alongside the Syrian army.
Now, the Sunni jihadist groups equate the Lebanese army with Hezbollah in seeking to extend its influence in Lebanon.
In light of the uptick in attacks on the Lebanese army, the United States has begun to rush weapons and ammunition, among other logistical support.
Sources tell WND, however, that much of the logistical support destined for the army is winding up in the hands of Hezbollah. WND was unable to confirm the development independently.
There remains concern over the Lebanese army confronting al-Nusra and ISIS fighters who resort to guerrilla warfare in the face of a standing army. Counter-insurgency tactics generally are effective against a standing army that isn’t trained in such tactics.

Follow The Money--Dems Get Most Of The Campaign Contributions From---Islamists! Why?

Islamist Campaign Donors Overwhelmingly Back Democrats

An analysis of federal campaign contributions finds that key figures at six of America’s most prominent Islamist organizations have favored Democrats over Republicans by a ratio of 12 to 1 since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This trend began with multiple donations to Cynthia McKinney dated September 11, 2001, reversing a previous pattern that had seen Islamist officials spend slightly more on Republicans. Their preference for Democrats has solidified during the past 13 years and shows no signs of waning. What does this say about the politicians who benefit from Islamist largesse?
Islamist Watch, a project of the Middle East Forum, recently launched Islamist Money in Politics (IMIP), to monitor Islamists’ influence in the halls of power, inform the public about which politicians accept their tainted money, and hold accountable those who do. IMIP’s inaugural data release focuses on the national organizations of six Islamist entities— the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA), Muslim American Society (MAS), and Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) — as well as CAIR’s many local chapters.
Names of important personnel, both current and former, were mined from the groups’ Internal Revenue Service filings and/or website listings, some going back more than a decade. The Federal Election Commission’s online database, which spans the late 1990s to the present, was then searched for donations to candidates, joint fundraising committees, relevant political action committees, and parties. IMIP employed biographical information to select only those contributions that could reasonably be attributed to the individuals of interest, rejecting ones likely to have been made by unrelated persons who share their names. See IMIP’s description of methodology for details and a discussion of the challenges.
As of now, the IMIP database tabulates nearly $700,000 in donations. Surely many more people and contributions remain to be added, but the data already constitute a large and representative sample that is sufficient for an initial pass at quantifying Islamists’ political affinities.
First, who contributes? Major donors tend to be board members rather than staffers. While many of the biggest contributors maintain relatively low public profiles, several are quite familiar. With outlays totaling $56,800, the most generous funder of politicians in IMIP’s database is Kenny Gamble, who goes by Luqman Abdul Haqq in his position on MANA’s governing body. An Islamist-aligned music and real estate mogul, Gamble is tied to the “Islamic paramilitary boys group” known as the Jawala Scouts and has been accused of working to build a self-contained “black Muslim enclave” in South Philadelphia. Also among the top 20 donors are CAIR executive director Nihad Awad, who has contributed under numerous variants of his name; former MAS president and current CAIR national board member Esam Omeish, who resigned from a Virginia immigration panel in 2007 after a video emerged of his speech touting the Palestinians’ embrace of “the jihad way” against Israel; and Zead Ramadan, the CAIR-New York board member who unsuccessfully ran for New York City Council in 2013.
With regard to recipients, the Democratic Party dominates. Leading the all-time list by vacuuming up close to one in every five dollars is Keith Ellison, the Islamist-leaning Muslim congressman from Minnesota who has a long history of collaborating with Islamist groups. Barack Obama, whose policies have been popular with Islamists, comes in second when direct contributions are combined with those sent to joint fundraising committees associated with his 2008 and 2012presidential campaigns. Third is Cynthia McKinney, the far-left former congresswoman from Georgia who peddled conspiracy theories and harsh critiques of U.S. foreign policy in the wake of 9/11; that she ranks so high despite the fact that most donations to her were collected during a one-year, post-9/11 window testifies to Islamists’ endorsement of her adversarial stance at the outset of America’s military response to Islamic terrorism. Fourth is Indiana’s André Carson, thesecond Muslim congressman to be elected; he told attendees at the 2012 ICNA–MAS convention that educators should model American schools after Islamic madrassas. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee rounds out the top five.
However, Democrats did not always prevail in the battle for Islamist cash. According to IMIP’s current data, Republicansactually received about 15 percent more Islamist-related contributions than Democrats did over the several years prior to 9/11. The Islamists’ favorite Republican of that period was Californian Tom Campbell, who contested a Senate seat in 2000. Campbell’s warm relationships with radical Muslims, such as terror operative Sami al-Arian, are thoroughly documented. Further, although IMIP features only a handful of entries from the 2000 presidential race, there is more money for George W. Bush than for Al Gore. This is not a surprise because Bush won the backing of the American Muslim Political Coordination Committee, an Islamist-heavy coalition.
But 9/11 and the subsequent Republican-led war on terror changed everything, even the destination of Islamist money. IMIP detects the first hints of a sharp left turn in the form of donations to Cynthia McKinney from three Islamist figures, including Nihad Awad, on September 11, 2001 — undoubtedly before the Bush administration had a chance to do much to upset the self-proclaimed guardians of the Muslim community in the post-9/11 era. IMIP records no other contribution to any recipient within two weeks in either direction, making the date seem less coincidental. Many more donations would be routed to McKinney from Islamists’ wallets in the months to come. Over the 365 days that followed the 9/11 attacks, IMIP measures an 8-to-1 ratio of contributions in the Democrats’ favor. A majority of them flowed to McKinney.
This pro-Democratic tilt has continued to the present. Based on contributions now cataloged by IMIP, Democrats outraised Republicans by a factor of 4.8 from 2003 to 2006, 29.7 from 2007 to 2010, and 17.5 from 2011 to 2014. The two most recent blocks reflect the impact of Islamist enthusiasm for Obama’s White House runs. As for the last three Republicanpresidential nominees, IMIP has located no contributions to Bush’s 2004 campaign, none to John McCain’s in 2008, and just one to Mitt Romney for $1,000 ahead of the 2012 primaries. Overall, the people in IMIP’s sample have donated 12 times as much to Democrats since September 11, 2001.
Islamist-affiliated individuals presumably support Democrats for the same reason that other subsets of Americans throw their weight behind certain politicians and parties: they expect Democrats to support them, at least at the level of providing the best political landscape in which to pursue their objectives. But as Daniel Pipes points out, we are not dealing here with professionals attempting to “tweak the tax code” to their advantage or even a minority population striving to secure equal rights. Islamists intend to alter the fabric of the liberal democratic system, a goal characterized by the Muslim Brotherhood, in a memorandum outlining its North American strategy, as “a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within,” culminating in Islamic rule.
Each of the six groups analyzed by IMIP is connected to the Brotherhood or its dream of institutionalizing Shari‘a. ICNA, ISNA, and the Islamic Association for Palestine, CAIR’s immediate predecessor, appear on the Brotherhood’s 1991 “list of our organizations and the organizations of our friends.” Both CAIR and ISNA were designated as unindicted co-conspirators in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation, a charity convicted of bankrolling Hamas, the Brotherhood’s Palestinian wing. Prosecutors classified CAIR among the “individuals/entities who are and/or were members of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee and/or its organizations”; they named ISNA as one of the “individuals/entities who are and/or were members of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.” Furthermore, according to a brief filed by the government in a separate case, “MAS was founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” Two Muslim Brothers alsoformed MPAC. Finally, MANA is helmed by radical cleric Siraj Wahhaj, who has spoken of replacing the Constitutionwith Islamic law.
Because the various board members and staffers researched by IMIP have participated in defining and executing the ideological agendas of the above groups, their campaign contributions are a matter of concern. This is not to suggest that the dollar amounts uncovered thus far — quite small by American standards — are tipping any elections. But even in modest quantities, money can purchase political access and open the doors of influence. When it comes to the agents of radical Islam, these doors must be barred shut.
No remotely mainstream politician would knowingly accept, let alone get away with accepting, contributions from a leader of a white supremacist organization. Why should it be any different for a leader of an Islamic supremacist organization? Those who represent the American people or seek to do so, especially in federal offices that oversee counterterrorism and foreign affairs, need to begin saying no to funds from these problematic sources. Islamist Money in Politics is a first step in nudging candidates and parties toward the right decision — and, where that fails, empowering voters to make informed choices of their own about politicians who wittingly or unwittingly legitimize, enable, or embolden America’s enemies.

College Students Sign Petition To Legalize Fourth Term Abortions

After-Birth Abortions: College Students Increasingly Support Infanticide

Abortion proponents like to paint pro-lifers as extremists who go to great lengths to take away the rights of women. However, many of these abortion activists have views that are legitimately extremeand quite frankly, horrifying. Take, for example, the position that abortion should be legal in cases where the parents conceive a girl but they wanted a boy. Some activists would say women should have the right to an abortion because they shouldn’t be forced to have a child they don’t want.
proabort40But, unfortunately, supporting sex-selection abortion isn’t the worst of their extremist views; there are “pro-choicers” who support killing babies after their born. And according to Thomas Aquinas student, Mairead Mcardle, more college students are supporting post-birth abortion.
She writes in The College Fix, “Anecdotal evidence by leaders of pro-life groups such as Created Equal and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust said in interviews that not only do they see more college students willing to say they support post-birth abortion, but some students even suggest children up to 4 or 5-years-old can also be killed, because they are not yet “self aware.”
She cites the testimony of Mark Harrington, the director of Created Equal. Harrington said, “We encounter people who think it is morally acceptable to kill babies after birth on a regular basis at almost every campus we visit. While this viewpoint is still seen as shocking by most people, it is becoming increasingly popular.”
He continues, “This is the whole problem with devaluing human life at any stage—it will naturally grow to include other groups of humans; in this case, born humans as well as preborn humans,” Harrington said. “[I] talked with one young man at the University of Minnesota who thought it was alright to kill children if they were under the age of 5 years old, as he did not consider them personsuntil that age.”
As LifeNews previously reported, there’ve even been students who’ve signed petitions to makeabortion legal in the non-existent 4th trimester. Mcardle concludes by explaining that pro-abortion activists address the problem by saying it doesn’t exist. She writes, “[When] asked about the incident at Ohio State, at which a woman responded to a prolife display by defending infanticide, a pro-abortion activism group at the campus stated its views were similar to those of the woman in the clip.”
The leader of Voices for Planned Parenthood (VOX) at Ohio State University, Devin Deitsch said, “As for post-birth abortion, I would imagine that my colleagues would think the ‘post-birth’ part was largely irrelevant, as we believe very strongly in abortion on demand, without apology, and it’s plain and simple that we should look to the woman’s morals and not shove our opinions where they, frankly, don’t belong.”
Watch students sign the fake petition for “4th trimester” abortions below.

Will Abortion Lead To Killing Of Infants And The Elderly. Of Course It Will And It Is Happening Now! ObamaCrapCare Will Be One Of The Tools!

Slouching from infanticide to ‘toddlercide’

Baby killing (abortion) is a growing industry backed by all kinds of monstrous justification.
Just how intelligent is a race of people who will themselves to extinction? We should call it a moral crisis.
We fear tyranny, war, disease and fear economic depression; but we have absolutely no fear of self-extinction.
Since 1973, there have been 56.6 million abortions. But this is apparently not enough. According to anecdotal evidence presented by pro-life groups Created Equal and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, an astonishing number of college students say they support post-birth abortion — or what we commonly call murder.
These murders should take place up to ages 4 and 5, students say, because the children are not yet “self-aware.”
The devaluation of life has become public policy in America, hence the death panels in Obamacare and forced funding of abortifacients in Obamacare healthcare plans. Abortion has long been a central plank of the Godless Democrat Party. It’s now joined by homosexual “marriage.”
Yes, there are death panels in Obamacare that will ration care. There are also government “policymakers” like Ezekiel Emanuel who are proponents of child murder because children are not productive members of society.
Of course, for most of the people abortions are mainly for more selfish reasons of convenience. And by the way, Margaret Sanger, a proponent of eugenics, founded the precursor to Planned Parenthood in order to exterminate minorities–blacks in particular. Her plan seems to be working, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the majority of babies aborted are minorities.
It wasn’t so long ago that there was a terrible stigma placed on abortion, and it was done mostly in secret and only in extreme circumstances. Then it evolved into public policy and became in most minds no more serious a procedure than pulling a tooth.
Before something becomes official and “public policy,” it begins as unofficial public policy. In the beginning or unofficial stage, the government and its politicians appear to be silent or neutral on an issue. All appears to be spontaneous, coming from grass-roots idealism. For example, infant murder began under the altruistic sounding words “planned parenthood.” Now Planned Parenthood is granted an annualstipend from the Federal Treasury.
As always in such chicanery, these words are totally misleading. But they have worked their charm on lukewarm churchgoing Americans. Under the guise of universalism and tolerance, the world turns its back on all sorts of evil.
In the beginning stages of creating the public mind to accept the formulation of public policy, it all has an aura of free expression and “free choice.”
While some people are mildly alarmed, few would ever suspect the progression pattern and how these altruistic social expressions finally evolve into law. This means in plain language that at some point, the government decides “by law” who is to die “in the public interest.” They will decide which children will die and which aged and infirm will die. And eventually, they will come after you with no pretense.
