It amazes us how insensitive the left is. The current protest against Chick-Fil-A is a great example. When the chairman of the company said he believed in what the Bible says, the ever to be over-sensitive react with anger. It did not matter that he was speaking to a church related magazine or that he was expressing his personal feelings, to them it meant that he was anti-gay.
The protesters did not say that the company discriminated against gays in hiring or advancement. They did say the company did not serve gay customers. It was all about the chairman's personal opinion about marriage being between a man and a woman.
But that is the way liberals think--they want you to think the same as they do, otherwise you are wrong. There is NO allowance for other opinions. It is their way or the highway.
So it is very comforting to see Americans (of all color, religion and political orientation) come out by the thousands to support the company and to tell these know-it-alls, we support Chick-Fil-A and that we will not be intimidated by these insensitive, over the top actions. Bravo to all Americans who believe in freedom of speech and thought.

Black Activists: Liberal Protest of Chick-Fil-A is 'Ultimate Example of Intolerance'
(CNSNews.com) - Members of the Project 21 leadership network of Black conservatives have a message for liberals and Big City mayors intent on boycotting Chick-fil-A over the chain’s support for traditional marriage.
Their message to liberals is simple: You are being intolerant.
“I think liberals are missing a vital point in their blind hatred of Chick-fil-A,” Project 21’s Demetrius Minor said. “Being against gay marriage is not being anti-gay.”
Minor said the fast-food company, in fact, doesn’t discriminate against anybody, and it's a lie to try to say they do.
“The last time I checked, Chick-fil-A wasn't expressing a desire for gays not to eat at their restaurants or seek employment with them,” Minor said.
Chick-fil-A simply supports marriage as it has always been understood, Minor said.
Project 21's Derryk Green said it is liberals and homosexual activists who have tried to create the illusion that failure to support the idea of “gay marriage” is somehow a form of bigotry.
"Chick-fil-A executives and others who share a 'traditional' or religious understanding of marriage are unfairly characterized as hateful because the idea of being against a redefinition of marriage has been deceitfully conflated with being against homosexuals,” Green said.
“This is simply untrue and a projection of bigotry onto folks who don't deserve it,” Green said.
Project 21’s Stacy Washington said if anyone is being bigoted – it’s the liberals who are want to boycott Chick-Fil-A.
“While screaming for tolerance, the left displays the ultimate example of intolerance by calling for boycotts and other acts meant to hurt Chick-fil-A's ability to do business,” Washington said. “This includes liberal mayors and city councilmen willing to declare their cities off limits to Chick-fil-A franchises.
She added: “Whether one agrees or disagrees with Chick-fil-A's corporate philosophy is a personal matter. Refusing to permit a business to operate is another quite un-American matter altogether.”
On July 16, the chain's president, Dan Cathy, made comments to Baptist Press in support of defining marriage as only between a man and a woman.
Cathy said:“I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, 'We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage,' and I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to try to redefine what marriage is about.”

Since then, the restaurant chain has been targeted by calls for a boycott of its restaurants by the homosexual lobby, liberal celebrities, leftist activists and big city mayors, including Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
Emanuel gave indications that he might join a move by a Chicago alderman to block Chick-fil-A’s planned expansion of a Northside Chicago store, saying that, “Chick-fil-A’s values are not Chicago values” and “if you’re gonna be part of the Chicago community, you should reflect Chicago values.”
But Project 21’s Leo G.A. Fuller points out that Emanuel recently welcomed Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan to Chicago to help with the city's dramatic increase in murders.
“It can best be summed up as situational indignation,” Fuller said. “Compare Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's scorns for Chick-fil-A's president for his personal religious convictions regarding gay marriage to the mayor's embrace of Louis Farrakhan -- whose record of gay-bashing and homophobic hated is legendary and whose opposition to gay marriage is well-known.”
Boston Mayor Tom Menino also expressed opposition to proposed Chick-fil-a store in Boston.
In response to the liberal campaign against Chick-fil-A, former Gov. Mike Huckabee, host of a popular FoxNews program, called for people to support the chain with visits to its restaurants on August 1.
Cathy never said he opposed gay marriage. He did say he disagreed with the concept. I guess you're not allowed to disagree, especially in Boston and Chicago. This business is about chicken and not about with whom one is sleeping. Let the business stand or fall on their ability to serve chicken, and create JOBS in the meantime
