Isn't it time that we hold Congress and the President accountable for the financial mess that we are in? We believe so.
Please take a second to write your Congressman/woman, your Senators and the President and tell them it is time to get off their duffs, fix the fiscal cliff and set up a plan to get the country back on a solid financial footing! Be sure to tell them that we know it will be painful but not as painful as it will be if we don't take immediate action. Pulling off a band-aid is always less painful if it is quick!
Assuming that our letters do no good, (unfortunately they ignore us), we will need to take the following actions:
Sue the Speaker of the House Boehner, The House Minority Leader Pilosi, The Senate Majority Leader Reed in Court for Dereliction of Duty for not performing their Constitutionally Mandated Responsibilities i.e. passing a budget. We start with the leaders and proceed through the leadership of both houses and both parties.
Ask for a return of all monies they have received from the government for their "service."
Ask the the Court to remove them from office.
Unless Americans of all political stripes do not force our government to act responsibly, we DESERVE the malfunctioning group of criminals we have elected. It is time to act.
