Canadian Free Press Wrote About Kerry's In laws Over A Year Ago. Never A Mention In The US Media.

Secretary Kerry is more than just the dolt we always knew he was, he's a very real security risk to the United States Kerry’s Iranian Family Ties By Joy Tiz -- Bio and Archives  March 25, 2013  Comments| Print friendly | Subscribe | Email Us | As if just being John Kerry  wasn’t bad enough, now we know that our newly minted  Secretary of State has family  ties in Iran.  The Daily Caller is  reporting that Kerry’s daughter,  Vanessa, married Behrouz Nahed,  a resident physician in Boston. Nahed may be a fine fellow for all we know. What’s concerning is that he has relatives remaining in Iran. An Iranian government web site posted pictures of the married couple in February, you remember, just about the same time Kerry’s confirmation hearings were underway. Shortly after the wedding, the couple visited the relatives in Iran. Thus, the question becomes:  Did the Iranian government post the photos as a subtle warning to Kerry, letting  him know that the thug regime is fully aware of his relationship to his new son-in-law’s family? According to the opinion piece in the Daily Caller, The Islamic Republic puts pressure on families of prominent Iranian-Americans to ensure they don’t make statements or engage in activities hostile to the regime. That rather hobbles the Secretary of State, does it not? We’re supposed to be working on keeping Iran from getting a nuclear bomb. Now, in the unlikely event that Kerry would ever have said a disparaging word about the deranged regime in Tehran, he can’t. Nor can he condone stiffer sanctions. In fact, Kerry favors some sort of detente with  Iran, as if such a thing were possible. He’s appeared more than once with the American  Iranian Council (AIC) and has even taken money  from an Iranian woman who was in the US illegally. Thinking rationally, it would make no sense for the  Iranian government to round up and torture Nahed’s family since Kerry is no threat to the  regime and its nuclear program. But, we’re not dealing with rational actors. Tehran just acquired a brand new bargaining chip against the United States via John Kerry’s family. Who knows what sort of demands the regime could make while threatening Kerry’s in-laws. This family connection should have been considered an unacceptable risk for the  position of Secretary of State. In the Obama administration, it’s a resume  enhancer. Secretary Kerry is more  than just the dolt we always knew he  was, he’s a very real security risk to the United States.
