In his second Inaugural Address, President Obama made it clear that his zealous, extreme fringe views on guns were going to be forced on the American people whether they wanted them to be or not. He frequently bemoans the lack of action by Congress on the issue, because he doesn't understand that the American people aren't interested in many of his fundamental transformations.
He not only has been unable to get the public to move in his direction on gun control, as we mentioned here last month, he is driving them in the opposite direction.
The danger of having a president who views Congress as a vestigial remnant of a bygone era cannot be understated. When that president also has the temperament of a spoiled brat who simply must get his way, it gets even worse.
It always gets worse with this guy.
