Beto O’Rourke Fears This Number Above All
Beto O’Rourke’s campaign has been pummeled with false claims about immigration.
And now O’Rourke has just been slammed with another piece of bad news.
This number is leaving Beto with more fear than anything else.
When he announced a campaign for the White House earlier this year, Beto O’Rourke made it clear that no one would outflank him to the left on the issue of immigration.
And that essentially meant that Beto would campaign for the presidency on a platform of open borders, amnesty, and unfettered illegal immigration.
But over the course of the past several weeks, more and more news, statistics, and reports about immigration are coming back to bite Beto in a way he never thought was possible.
And now, a new study from the Migration Policy Institute is showing that Beto’s immigration stances are costing taxpayers millions of dollars a year.
Breitbart reports, “Nearly 100,000 illegal alien teenagers are graduating from American high schools every year, new research concludes.”
“The latest study from the Migration Policy Institute (MPI) reveals the growing number of illegal alien teenagers who are enrolled and graduating from U.S. high schools. Researchers find that about 98,000 illegal aliens every year graduate from high schools across the country.”
The report found that states like California, with very tolerant laws on illegal crossings and with generous welfare benefits to support them, are teeming with illegal immigrants in local school systems.
“Close to 30,000 of those illegal aliens, annually, are graduating from high schools in the sanctuary state of California which has the largest illegal alien population, totaling at least 2.2 million. About 27 percent of all illegal aliens graduating high school every year are doing so in California, researchers found,” adds Breitbart.
Over a quarter of all illegal aliens currently in the American educational system are in California, while Texas and New York round out the top three states with the largest illegal students in the country.
“Similarly, in Texas and Florida, each with significant foreign-born and illegal populations, have thousands of illegal alien high school graduates every year. In Texas, about 17,000 illegal aliens graduate from high school every year while Florida graduates about 5,000 illegal alien high schoolers annually,” states Breitbart.
New York, New Jersey, and Illinois each see about 4,000 illegal aliens graduate from high school every year. This means the top 15 states are home to more than 80 percent of all illegal alien high school graduates.
And Beto O’Rourke supports all of this.
He opposes the construction of a border wall with Mexico, which could cut down on illegal immigration, and he also opposes any measures to remove illegal aliens currently living in the United States who are using up public services at the taxpayer’s expense.
In essence, Beto is supporting the eroding of American sovereignty, and he thinks that’s a position that will help him get elected president.
Do you think Beto’s open borders stance will help or hurt him in the 2020 campaign?
