The Muslims Are Coming And These Two Are In The Vanguard

Omar Defends Tlaib’s Comments about the Holocaust

Last week, House Rep. Rashida Tlaib made some controversial remarks about the Holocaust. The congresswoman subsequently faced backlash from conservatives who viewed her statements as anti-Semitic and otherwise alarming.
Anti-Semitism seems to be a trending theme amongst Democrats…and guess what? There’s another freshmen Democrat who has made headlines for actually backing Tlaib’s anti-Semitic comments.
That’s right, you guessed it: Ilhan Omar. Earlier this week, Omar stood behind Tlaib and even championed her as a “sister,” as documented by Fox News.

Everything You Need to Know

Tlaib appeared on a Skullduggery podcast over this past weekend. During this time, she delivered the following chilling remarks about the Holocaust and Jewish people.
“There’s always kind of a calming feeling, I tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passport.”
It gets even worse:
“Just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And, I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways, but they did it in a way that took their human dignity away and it was forced on them.”

Omar’s Defense of Tlaib

Considering Omar’s past history of making flagrantly anti-Semitic statements, her defense of Tlaib shouldn’t come as a shock. After all, Omar is the same person who claimed that American politicians are paid to support Israel and dismissed 9/11 as “some people did something.”
During Omar’s time on MSNBC, she defended her fellow congresswoman with the following statements:
“I think we are seeing what happens when people really see these kind of attacks for what they are. It is designed to silence, sideline, and sort of almost eliminate public voice of Muslims from the public discourse. I’m really excited that we have an opportunity to build alliances and push back and fight this attempt to marginalize our community’s voice.”
Omar’s statements couldn’t be more interesting. Is describing the Holocaust as “calming” something which Omar views as the best way for Muslims to “build alliances?” It sure looks that way.
The brazenly open anti-Semitism which is coming from the Democrat Party in droves ought to alarm all Americans, regardless of political leanings or affiliations.

What do you think of Rashida Tlaib’s anti-Semitic rhetoric? Are you surprised that Ilhan Omar rushed to her defense?
