MSNBC Analyst Accuses Fox News Of Pushing “Terrorism”
(PoliticalLookout)- Anand Giridharadas, an analyst from MSNBC, made the incorrect and disturbing claim that Fox News should be outlawed because they pushed viewers into committing acts of “terrorism.”
The outlandish and factually inaccurate statements are just the latest example of far-left commentators and media figures inciting hatred against conservatives and working to shut down opposition as the Democrats take control of the three chambers of government.
“It’s time for this question to be front and center: Should Fox News be allowed to exist?” he asked on Twitter.
It’s time for this question to be front and center: Should Fox News be allowed to exist? Brain-mashing as a business model shouldn’t be legal.

“Brain-mashing as a business model shouldn’t be legal,” he said.
But MSNBC and CNN, who both push proven lies about President Donald Trump, should be allowed to exist?
In a follow-up tweet, Giridharadas described the outbreak of violence on Capitol Hill on January 6 – a violent protest roundly condemned by all Republicans and President Trump – as a “terrorist insurrection” and incorrectly claimed that Fox News had a role in “incitement” of the violence.
Twelve percent of Americans supported the terrorist insurrection on the Capitol. After the fact. You cannot pin this only on leaders. This has been institutionalized incitement in which the media played a giant role, and democracy is endangered by it.https://t.co/P0MdGOh71l

Giridhadas acknowledged that such a decision could become a slippery slope and regulations that stop networks like Fox from simply existing could be abused, but he didn’t acknowledge the fact that abolishing or outlawing Fox would be an abuse in itself.
Matt Taibi of Rolling Stone, hardly a right-wing magazine by any stretch, slammed Giridhadas for the idea.
“Curious where @AnandWrites thinks the Fox audience should go?” he asked. “Should they not have news outlets at all, should they go to a new conservative outlet that will somehow suck less than Fox, should they learn to love CNN? What’s the plan?”
Well, there is no plan. At least, Giridhadas didn’t offer one.
It comes as Big Tech continues its crackdown on political speech for conservatives, removing accounts from Twitter that don’t subscribe to politically correct beliefs and even shutting down the Parler social media network entirely because it refused to toe the left-wing line.
The message is clear from the left: comply or be silenced.
