Should Trump Comment On Every Crime In The Country? Ridiculous Demand

The criminal is white so… ‘Trump’

The kneejerk mainstream media and their leftist anti-Trump sycophantic followers are at it again.
The man who stabbed and killed two people and injured another on a Portland, Oregon train over the weekend is a white man who is alleged to have spewed anti-Muslim slurs at two women, one of whom was wearing a hajib. So naturally, the MSM put 2 and 2 together and got 5 or 7 or something… that he’s by extension a Donald Trump supporter.
Except he’s not… except when he is.
What one finds if he looks beyond the MSM’s kneejerk anti-Trump bias is that the stabber, whose name will not be printed here, is a habitual criminal who hates everyone except Bernie Sanders — which is especially curious given that he claims to hate Jews – and is likely mentally ill or a heavy user of drugs… or both. He was also reported to have been shot in the face during one of his run-ins with police.
The stabber’s Facebook page is loaded with pro-Bernie Sanders and anti-Trump and anti-Hillary Clinton posts, including a desire to rip both Trump and Clinton “limb from limb,” and a call for Hillary supporters to be killed by “Bernie Supporters (sic) who didn’t turn traitor and vote  Hillary…”
In addition to his white supremacist rantings – which the media latched on to – his Facebook feed is filled with threats to assault “anyone wearing a Hillary shirt.”
Maybe a few Home Invasion (sic) if you got that stupid sign in front of yer (sic) house. Maybe just throw rocks thru yer (sic) windows… Hillary is a Warhawk (sic) and refused Honduran refugees from a situation she created making Honduras the most violent country in the Western Hemisphere per capita!!! Fuck that Slimy Whore!!! Can’t wait til (sic) she sets foot in my Rip City!!
That profound rant was followed by his own reply:
Anybody wants to join me in smashing some Clinton Crime Family and Trump Mafia supporters give me a ring…
In April the stabber attended a free speech march where he was seen carrying a baseball bat and was draped in a 1776 flag.
In the hours after the attack, the Twitterverse lit up with MSM talking heads and pundits calling on Trump to “condemn” the attack, implying he was somehow responsible. And as if Trump’s condemnation would somehow mean… what?
Trump finally did capitulate and “condemn” the attack, via his @POTUS twitter account:
The violent attacks in Portland on Friday are unacceptable. The victims were standing up to hate and intolerance. Our prayers are w/ them.
But I’m yet to find a single call from anyone asking Bernie Sanders to condemn the attack.
Why is that?

BATFE Implicated in More Rogue Operations

Posted on December 13, 2013
Over the last several years, the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) has been plagued by mismanagement, scandal and rogue operations, the most infamous of which has been the ill-fated and deadly "Fast and Furious" debacle.  Despite these ongoing problems and the criticism and calls for reform they have generated, BATFE has continued its practice of questionable tactics and judgment.

In fact, over the course of the last week, numerous media outlets have reported on yet another dubious BATFE operation--this one lowering the bar to a new, disturbing level.

As Fox News reports, BATFE agents in cities across the country used rogue tactics to go after guns on the street by allegedly luring mentally ill individuals to participate in sting operations, then later arresting many of these same individuals.  There are also reports that BATFE agents allowed minors to smoke pot and drink alcohol in connection with these operations.

The allegations against BATFE came about as a result of an in-depth investigation earlier this year by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which exposed an ill-conceived BATFE sting in Milwaukee that included agents hiring a brain-damaged man to promote an undercover storefront and then arresting him for his work.

According to the latest Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article on the issue, BATFE officials told Congress the failed Milwaukee operation was an isolated case of inadequate supervision.

But apparently it was not.  Instead, it appears that it was part of a pattern of questionable activities in several states.

The Journal Sentinel article reports that among the findings of the investigation were the following revelations:

■ BATFE agents befriended mentally disabled people to stimulate business and later arrested them in at least four cities in addition to Milwaukee. In Wichita, BATFE agents referred to a man with a low IQ as "slow-headed" before deciding to secretly use him as a key figure in their sting.  Agents in Albuquerque gave a brain-damaged drug addict with little knowledge of weapons a "tutorial" on machine guns, hoping he could find them one.

■ Agents in several cities opened undercover gun- and drug-buying operations in safe zones near churches and schools, allowed juveniles to come in and play video games and teens to smoke marijuana, and provided alcohol to underage youths. In Portland, Ore., attorneys for three teens who were charged said a female agent dressed provocatively, flirted with the boys and encouraged them to bring drugs and weapons to the store to sell.

■ As they did in Milwaukee, agents in other cities offered sky-high prices for guns, leading suspects to buy firearms at stores and turn around and sell them to undercover agents for a quick profit. In other stings, agents ran fake pawnshops and readily bought stolen items, such as electronics and bikes--no questions asked--spurring burglaries and theft.  In Atlanta, agents bought guns that had been stolen just hours earlier, several that were taken from police cars.
■ Agents damaged buildings they rented for their operations, tearing out walls and rewiring electricity--then stuck landlords with the repair bills.  A property owner in Portland, Ore., said agents removed a parking lot spotlight, damaging her new $30,000 roof and causing leaks, before they shut down the operation and disappeared without a way for her to contact them.

■ Agents pressed suspects for specific firearms that could fetch tougher penalties in court.  They allowed felons to walk out of the stores armed with guns. In Wichita, agents suggested a felon take a shotgun, saw it off and bring it back--and provided instructions on how to do it.  The sawed-off gun allowed them to charge the man with a more serious crime.

■ In Pensacola, BATFE hired a felon to run its pawnshop.  The move widened the pool of potential targets, boosting arrest numbers.  BATFE's pawnshop partner was later convicted of pointing a loaded gun at someone outside a bar.  Instead of a stiff sentence typically handed down to repeat offenders in federal court, he got six months in jail--and a pat on the back from the prosecutor.

Rest assured, we'll keep readers apprised of any new developments in the investigation and reporting of these shocking allegations.

Over Regulation Of Our Lives Ensnares 11 Year Old

When my grandfather came to this country, he and his wife baked bread and then sold it to families in New Jersey. He did not rely on welfare (as there was none), he did what he knew how to do and that was to make bread. It supported him and his family.

Today, he would not have been able to support himself as he would have needed to get a permit to sell the bread, an inspection of his kitchen to make the bread, a business license and a whole set of OSHA, EPA, Food and Drug Regulations to comply with.  Just a few of the hurdles modern American has placed in front of the average Joe and Jane American.

This country has been so over-regulated that many of the inventions of the past would not be possible today. The roadblocks (good intentions turned into impediments) smother entrepreneurship as the following post so clearly exhibits.  When are we going to realize that we cannot prevent bad things from happening by passing laws and ordinances. As the saying goes "S happens."

Humbug!: 11-Year-Old Told She Can’t Sell Mistletoe In Busy Park, Told To Beg Instead

An 11-year-old Oregon girl hoping to help her father pay for her braces by selling mistletoe recently learned a lesson that every small-business owner in the United States understands: Entrepreneurial spirit isn’t highly appreciated by the rulers of a bureaucratic society.
After learning that her orthodontic treatment would cost her father $4,800, Madison Root hatched a plan to chip in and help her family with the bill.
“I felt like I could help my dad with the money,” she told KATU.
So the youngster decided to take to the busy Portland Saturday Market over the weekend to sell neatly packaged mistletoe complete with a red bow to customers getting a jump on holiday shopping.
As she attempted to sell her goods among a crowd complete with buskers, beggars, protesters and the peddlers of various other handicrafts, the girl was approached by a private security guard employed by the market who ordered her to stop. The reason, according to reports, is that the child hadn’t filed the proper paperwork required by city ordinance to sell her products.
“I wouldn’t think I’d have any problems because people are asking for money, people are selling stuff, this is a public place,” Madison told the local news station.
The guard told Madison that she had two options if she wished to raise money for her braces. Either she could move away from the square and the other vendors, or she could simply beg for donations without selling any goods.
The second suggestion in particular didn’t sit well with the young entrepreneur.
“I don’t want to beg! I would rather work for something than beg,” said Madison.
“It’s crazy. People can get money for pot. But I can’t get money for braces. I’m working for this! They’re just sitting down on their butts all day asking for pot.”
According to reports, a spokesman for the market explained that begging was not prohibited because it is considered “a form of free speech, protected under the First Amendment” and exempt from the Portland ordinance that requires a license for display of “goods, or descriptions or depictions of goods or services, with the intent to engage any member of the public in a transaction for the sale of any good or service.”
In a happy twist, orders for her mistletoe have skyrocketed in the days since local media told Madison’s story.
