If True, Can These Senators Be Impeached?

Two Senate Dems behind Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax?

Television star Jussie Smollett became the center of attention across America after his alleged hate crime attack was revealed to be a hoax.
Similarly, Americans were outraged when the Cook County District Attorney, Kim Foxx, decided to drop all criminal charges on Smollett.

But there’s a rumor circulating the internet that the whole incident goes even deeper — and that Smollett was just one piece of a “Deep State” political puzzle.
Joe Hoft of The Gateway Pundit claims there’s evidence to suggest that the Smollett incident is connected to two 2020 presidential hopefuls — namely Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif. and Cory Booker, D-N.J. Hoft says the two congresspeople knew that Smollett was lying about his lynching hoax from the start.
In his controversial piece, Hoft suggests they might’ve all worked together to fake the crime.
Harris and Booker had been working at the time on a bill entitled “Justice for Victims of Lynching Act of 2018.” It had been passed in Senate on Dec. 19, 2018 and was waiting for a vote in the House.
But it needed public support.

Insert Smollett, who had met with both Harris and Booker about the bill before staging his fake crime hoax.
Hoft claims this is no coincidence.
“The timeline of these conversations (December 21-January 18, 2019) suggests that the death threat letter he sent himself (January 22-23) and his staged attack (January 29), were timed to create an opinion groundswell to support the bill and prop the political and professional career of the three masterminds,” Hoft wrote.
It wasn’t just Smollett that met with with bill’s authors around this time either.
On Jan. 21, 2019 Sen. Harris, and Kim Foxx — the district attorney whose controversial decision it was to drop charges against Smollett for falsely reporting a crime — were seen taking a photo together… just 8 days before the so-called hate crime took place.
Smollett was “attacked” on Jan. 29, just eight days later.
Immediately after, Harris and Booker both jumped to use the incident to gain public support for their bill.
Sens. Harris and Booker both tweeted about the attack on social media just hours after the incident came to light and both called what happened a “modern day lynching.”

Hoft claims this is no coincidence.
Hoft says this is all evidence shows the hate crime hoax could’ve been a part of the Democrats’ “Deep State” corruption all along.
Critics say the conspiracy theory is based on nothing but coincidence and circumstantial evidence.

In Chicago, The Crooks Run The City

Law and Order Breaking Down in Chicago as Mob Forces Cop To Free Suspect

Chicago Cop Surrounded, Mob Forces Him To Do Unthinkable with Suspect

In the 1997 movie “L.A. Confidential,” one character said of a police sergeant who was enduring a grueling situation: “I wouldn’t trade places with (him) right now for all the whiskey in Ireland.”
It’s easy to echo that sentiment in regard to Chicago police officers.
As if the city’s maddening number of homicides isn’t enough of a burden, actor Jussie Smollett — on whom Chicago law enforcement had wasted considerable resources and countless hours — was inexplicably cleared of all charges in an apparent hate-crime hoax.

And now, we’ve come to discover, it seems Chicago police can’t even arrest a drug suspect without being harassed or threatened by a menacing crowd.
The Chicago Tribune reported earlier this month that a pair of officers struggled to control rowdy onlookers as one man resisted arrest and another ran off while carrying drugs.

The group “implied that they had weapons” and made threats, police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told the Tribune.
“Out of an abundance of caution, he backs away from the arrestee. An individual comes and grabs the arrestee and another individual comes and grabs the narcotics,” Guglielmi added.

Ultimately, said suspect was able to elude arrest and possible charges — thanks to a little help from his friends.
As Tribune columnist John Kass wrote about the episode: “The street is officially no longer afraid of the Chicago police.”

Do you think Chicago police deserve more resources and respect?

“If the cops had fired their weapons, news media would have been all over them, metaphorically skinning them alive. Politicians would have demanded their heads,” Kass added.
Instead, the mob ruled — and neither media pundits nor Democrats voiced concern.
Perhaps most troubling is what that shameless incident means for the immediate future when it comes to Chicago-based crime.

The idiom “Give them an inch and they’ll take a mile” is taking root on the streets, as would-be criminals and cohorts think they can act with impunity.
It would appear that consequences and repercussions are fading like the morning mist.

Both men who tried to escape from the two officers were arrestedWednesday and charged. Still, when one considers that Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s hands were ostensibly tied in the Smollett case, one must wonder if that city has morphed from being a “sanctuary” for illegal immigrants to being anti-justice in general.

Evidently, even when Windy City authorities make an arrest or charge someone, they’re in a no-win situation: Damned if they do or don’t — always feeling the need to look over their shoulders.
When your mayor is disgusted and the police chief is “furious” with a high-profile case’s outcome, law and order doesn’t stand much of a chance.
At this rate, it’s difficult to imagine any job in America less desirable than that of a Chicago police officer.

The city, much like that bullied “L.A. Confidential” sergeant, is reaping what it sowed.

Tina Tchen, Michelle Obama's former chief of staff, played an integral role in getting all charges dropped in the case against Jussie Smollett.

During the investigation's preliminary stages, while Chicago Police still considered Smollett a victim, Tchen circumvented detectives and asked the Cook County State Attorney's Office hand the case over to the FBI.

Tchen is not only linked to Smollett's sweetheart deal – she is also under scrutiny for being chosen to investigate allegations of racism and sexism at the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) after the center's co-founder, Morris Dees, was fired. (RELATED: Liberal Nonprofit Running 'Highly Profitable Scam' Staffers Say)

The Daily Wire's Ashe Schow has more:

In a statement announcing Dees’ firing, then-president Richard Cohen said the center had hired “an outside organization to conduct a comprehensive assessment of our internal climate and workplace practices, to ensure that our talented staff is working in the environment that they deserve – one in which all voices are heard and all staff members are respected.”

The person hired to lead this investigation was Tchen. The Chicago-based attorney and co-founder of the Times Up Legal Defense Fund (part of the MeToo movement), will be assessing the SPLC’s workplace culture.

In a statement to The New York Times, the SPLC’s board chairman, Bryan Fair, said the allegations and departures were “an eye-opening reminder that the walk toward justice must sometimes start at your own front door, and force you to look at your past so you can improve your future.”

Will Obama's Friends Ever Learn

Obama Administration Officials Linked

to Jussie Smollett Debacle

Every development in the Jussie Smollett story somehow seems more
 unbelievable than the last.

Firstly, the idea of MAGA hat-wearing men targeting a gay, black man in one
of America's most liberal enclaves strains credulity.

Smollett then claimed his attack occurred on the coldest night in downtown
Chicago in three decades.

Somehow, his supposedly homophobic, Trump-loving assailants recognized
him from his show Empire (largely unknown to conservative audiences).

The suspected assailants, Nigerian-born brothers Olabinjo Osundairo and
Abimbola Osundairo are acquaintances of Smollett. The actor wrote them a
check after which they were seen on security cameras at a hardware store
purchasing ski masks and red hats used in Smollett's assault.

Finally, all of this occurred during salary negotiations on Empire. Smollett was
reportedly unhappy making $125,000 per episode.

Perhaps it shouldn't come as a surprise that Smollett got all charges dropped
in what one top prosecutor calls "a sickening abuse of prosecutorial discretion."
(National Review)

Then there’s this detail:
[State’s Attorney Kim] Foxx recused herself from the case last month

after revealing she had contact with Smollett’s representatives early on

in the investigation. She declined to provide details at the time.

Communications later released to the Tribune, however, showed Foxx

had asked Superintendent Johnson to turn over the investigation to the

FBI after she was approached by a politically connected lawyer about

the case.

Foxx reached out to Johnson after Tina Tchen, former chief of staff to

first lady Michelle Obama, emailed Foxx saying the actor’s family had

unspecified “concerns about the investigation.” Tchen, a close friend of

Mayor Emanuel’s wife, said she was acting on behalf of the “Empire”

actor and his family. A relative later exchanged texts with Foxx.

Michelle Obama’s former chief of staff calls up the state’s attorney, the

state’s attorney hands off the case to her assistant, and the assistant

gives Smollett the deal of the century. And all of this is so egregiously,

transparently corrupt that mayor and former Obama chief of staff Rahm

Emanuel is spitting hot fire over this, as is Obama’s former chief

strategist David Axelrod.
