Who Will Pick Up Tim Allen's Show?

Conservative Tom says:

ABC made a big mistake cancelling a successful, profitable show.  It will be picked up by another network and will continue to be followed by conservatives countrywide.

On May 10, fans of the hit sitcom “Last Man Standing” were left confused and frustrated after ABC announced it would not renew the Tim Allen-led series. But all hope is not lost. According to the show’s studio, 20th Century Fox, rather than give up on the comedy, it is now being shopped around to other networks.
The decision to cancel the comedy was met with fierce backlash from conservative critics, who suggested the show was likely canceled because of its traditional American values and conservative-leaning comedy, including Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R). Walker said on Twitter ABC “is playing politics” by canceling the show.
“Looks like @ABC is playing politics with your show despite decent ratings. Sad,” wrote Walker on Twitter.

A petition to save the show posted to Change.org has been signed by more than 366,000 supporters.
In an interview on Thursday with Variety, the presidents of the studio that has produced “Last Man Standing,” Jonnie Davis and Howard Kurtzman, said they aren’t giving up on the popular sitcom. When asked whether it would be shopped to other networks, Kurtzman said, “We’re starting to explore that. If it’s not going to go forward at ABC, of course Jonnie and I are hopeful that we can find another home for it.”
The show has a big and loyal fanbase, so it’s possible another network will be willing to give “Last Man Standing” a new home, but the writer for Variety says the show’s studio faces “an uphill climb.”
According to Variety Senior TV Reporter Daniel Holloway, “‘Last Man Standing’ faces an uphill climb in search of a new network. After six seasons, costs for the series are significantly higher than those for younger multi-camera comedies typically are. And the buying patterns of broadcast networks this development season showed little appetite for multi-cams among most of the Big Four.”
According to Deadline, “Last Man Standing” was ABC’s “second most watched comedy this season with 8.1 million viewers in Live +7, only behind flagship Modern Family (8,7 million). It was the third most watched ABC scripted series overall behind Grey’s Anatomy and Modern Family.”

Chelsea Clinton Joins Obama On Getting An Award For Doing Nothing

Chelsea Clinton To Receive Lifetime Impact Award For Some Reason

Chelsea Clinton is set to receive a Lifetime Impact award from Variety magazine and Lifetime next month, though it is unclear why.
The former first daughter will be honored at a “Power of Women” luncheon on April 21, Variety announced. Jessica Chastain, Gayle King, Blake Lively, Audra McDonald and Shari Redstone will also receive the awards.
Clinton, a 37-year-old mother of two, is receiving the award “for her work with Alliance for a Healthier Generation, which empowers kids to develop lifelong healthy habits,” Variety says in a statement.
The Alliance for a Healthier Generation, which helps fight childhood obesity, is affiliated with the Clinton Foundation, where Clinton serves as vice chair.
Clinton’s other achievements include being born to one of the most skilled politicians in American history, growing up in the White House, landing a $600,000 contract with MSNBC, marrying a hedge fund millionaire, and tweeting constantly about President Trump.
Correction: This article initially referred to Clinton’s award as a lifetime achievement award. Instead, it is a Lifetime Impact award issued by Variety and Lifetime, the cable television channel. The headline and article have been edited for accuracy.

Could "Rocky" Be Part Of The Trump Administration?

Sylvester Stallone Reported To Accept Top Trump Position

In a remarkable move, President-elect Donald Trump reportedly will tap Sylvester Stallone to serve in a “senior arts role,” the U.K. Daily Mail reported.
Although Stallone has not actually been nominated for any position yet, it is likely that he would be asked to serve as chairman for the National Endowment for the Arts, a major influencing factor in a wide range of artistic activities.
A representative for Trump said that nothing was set in stone — although the RNC confirmed that Trump was a Stallone fan.

“No decision has been made here yet,” the Trump spokesman said to Fox News.
A RNC representative also told Fox News that Trump and Stallone were “old friends and the president-elect thinks very highly of him, but no decisions have been made regarding this position.”
Stallone has been a Trump supporter for some time.

“I love Donald Trump,” Stallone said, according to Variety. “He’s a great Dickensian character. You know what I mean? There are certain people like Arnold (Schwarzenegger), Babe Ruth, that are bigger than life.”

It’s funny: Rocky is not a bad metaphor for Trump. No one took him seriously, but with hard work and community mobilizing, he was able to go far beyond what anyone could have imagined.
Unlike the first Rocky movie, however, Trump won.

What conservative wouldn’t want to see Rocky/Rambo go after the ultra-leftist community that is the current American arts culture? He’d give us a term like you won’t believe.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what you think about this possible nomination.
