"It was one of the dumbest statements I have ever heard from a president, and I don’t just mean the president of this country," Trump told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren on Fox News' "On The Record." "He just put a big target on Manhattan."

Obama was speaking during a press conference at the National Security Summit in The Hague this week when he said that Americans should not fear Russian’s annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea.
"I continue to be much more concerned when it comes to our security with the prospect of a nuclear weapon going off in Manhattan," Obama said.
But Trump, a real estate and entertainment mogul, said that Obama’s remarks put New York in the line of fire from terrorist organizations.
"I don’t know if this man knows what’s doing at all anymore," Trump said. "He was tired. He looked just exhausted. He’s not natural leader. It’s very hard for him to lead. He had never done it before in his life.
"But when he starts talking about nuclear weapons going off in Manhattan, saying this is a target, do it here…it’s so incredible that a president should make that statement."
Trump also hinted he may run for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016 while he also said that the party would capture the Senate in this year's midterm elections.
"I think the Republican are going to have a huge victory because Obamacare is a total disaster that is hurting a lot of people. The Republicans are going to pick up a lot of Senate seats," he said.
"And in January people are going to make a lot of decisions, and I certainly am looking at it, and I will make a decision," he said.
