Santa Barbara Killer Spoiled, Rich Kid Who Felt Unloved. Kills Himself Rather Than Face The Scorn!

Mass murder suspect Elliott Rodger
In the biblical account of the Garden of Eden, the ancient serpent – later described as “the devil, or Satan” – tempted the first humans by declaring if they defied their Creator, “Ye shall be as gods.”
Those haunting words were echoed in a video released by Elliot Rodger, the 22-year-old suspect in an Isla Vista, California, shooting that killed seven, including the shooter, May 23.
“I will be a god compared to you,” Rodger declares in the haunting video posted to YouTube only hours before the shooting. “You are animals, and I will slaughter you like animals. I’ll be a god, exacting my retribution.”

Rodger’s video is a chilling manifesto of loneliness, hatred and revenge, spurred on, he says, by college girls who repeatedly rejected his sexual advances. College, he says, is a time of “hedonistic pleasures” that these girls denied him, and thus, they deserve to die.
“I wanted sex, I wanted love, affection, adoration,” Rodger declares. “You think I’m unworthy. That’s a crime that can never be forgiven.”
“I’ll take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you,” he says. “You will finally see that I am in truth the superior one, the true alpha male.”
The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office has linked the shooting, described as “a pre-meditated mass murder,” to the video, titled “Elliot Rodger’s Retribution.”
The video clip “appears to be connected at this time,” stated Santa Barbara Sheriff Bill Brown, as quoted by The Los Angeles Times.
Fox News confirmed that several of the dead, as Rodger threatens in his video, were killed at a sorority house.
The video itself can be seen below (Editor’s note: The film may be disturbing and contains language that may be offensive to some):
The shooting took place after 9 p.m. on May 23 in the college town located near the University of Santa Barbara, California. Six were killed and seven others wounded before the gunman was also found dead of a gunshot wound with a semi-automatic handgun found in the suspect’s vehicle, the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office stated.
Though the authorities have not officially named Rodger as the suspect, lawyer Alan Shifman, attorney for Peter Rodger, an assistant director on “The Hunger Games” film series, says his client believes the shooter is his 22-year-old son, Elliot Rodger.
The biblical account of Satan describes an angel who in his pride longed to take the throne of God and was cast out of heaven for his rebellion. In revenge, he makes war against the people of God, seeking those he can “devour.” He strikes back at God by destroying and killing humanity, said to be made “in God’s image.”
Rodger’s words in the chilling video echo similar themes.
“Tomorrow is the day I will have revenge on humanity,” Rodger says. “I hate all of you. Humanity is a disgusting, wretched, depraved species. If I had it in my power, I would stop at nothing to reduce every single one of you to mountains of skulls and rivers of blood, and rightfully so. You deserve to be annihilated, and I will give that to you.”
