Here are a few inconvenient facts sure to anger and frustrate gun grabbers everywhere…

First of all, the FBI reports that more people are killed by fists each year (678) than shotguns and rifles combined (625).

If you combine the number of deaths caused by fists with the number of deaths caused by hammers and other blunt objects, the comparison is even more striking (pardon the pun).

Fists: More lethal than rifles and shotguns… combined.

Breitbart reports:

According to the FBI, there were a total of 625 murders committed with rifles and shotguns in 2012. That breaks down to 322 murders that were rifle related and 303 that were shotgun related.

The total number of deaths committed with fists, hammers, and other blunt objects was 1,196. That breaks down to 518 murders related to hammers and blunt objects and 678 related to fists.

Taken together, the rate of murder by fists and hammers was nearly 100 percent higher than the rate of murder by rifles or shotguns.

Thanks to the FBI’s reporting, it’s now obvious what we need to do… ban fists.
