From Conservative Tribune:
BOMBSHELL: Obama’s “Moderate” Muslim Rebels Just Teamed Up With the “Islamic State”
If every American got a dollar-directly from Obama’s personal account-every time the president’s foreign policy strategy backfired, the economy would be back in the best shape it’s been in since the mid 1990s.
Last week, in an attempt to recover some of his dignity, President Obama delivered some “tough talk” on the ISIS situation, vowing to destroy them with his new plan of action, which after being unveiled is laughable to put it kindly.
Part of the president’s plan involved more airstrikes against Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq, as well as arming “moderate” Syrian Muslims to help take down ISIS on the ground and avoid sending U.S. troops into the region.
According to WND, this plan has completely fallen apart as moderate Syrian rebels have reportedly struck a truce with the Islamic State.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, based in the United Kingdom, stated the truce was made between the two factions in a city located inside the Darayya District. The group said, “the two parties will respect a truce until a final solution is found and they promise not to attack each other because they consider the principal enemy to be the Nussayri regime.”
Talks are currently underway in the House involving the authorization of $4 billion in aid to help these same Syrian rebels who have now cut a deal with our enemies.
A security officer from Jordan said the country is concerned about the president’s idea to arm rebels in the fight against ISIS, noting that the Syrians are most likely radicals themselves adhering to doctrines similar to those of al-Qaeda.
In other words, the president wants to provide weapons for one terrorist group and encourage them to kill another terrorist group and hope one day we don’t have to go to war with the terrorists we gave weapons to. Makes sense.
The old saying, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” is a clever cliche that works in movies, but usually goes sour when applied in real life.
Rather than attempt to send billions of taxpayer dollars over to Syrian rebels, who are likely terrorists we’ll have to wipe out some time in the future, break down and just send U.S. troops into the region and put a stop to ISIS reign of terror.
One would think that arming one terrorist to fight another, which is a bad idea, wouldn’t even be an option on the table worth considering, but apparently only individuals with common sense seem to think this.
Hopefully the House will agree not to go through with the funding, and Obama will ditch the whole idea of arming the Syrians after this new deal and actually consider putting together a plan that won’t create additional terrorists to hunt down in the future.
Please share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you agree arming Syrian rebels is a bad idea.
