He Was Just Washing His Car When a Thug Forced Him to Use His Concealed Carry in an Unusual Way

This is one of those stories where you can’t help but be happy someone was in the right place at the right time.

While washing his car, a city employee of Smyrna, Georgia spotted a woman on the hood of a car as it sped out of the driveway.

The woman’s car was being stolen and she was trapped helplessly on the hood.

The local Fox affiliate gives the full story below.

- Police say a car theft goes awry when the owner of the car spots the thief take off, and jumps on the hood of the car.

The owner of Fast Trac car wash showed us surveillance of the ordeal. The video shows a bystander watching the car drive off with the woman on the hood; he takes out his gun, and chases it.

Police tell FOX 5 that man was a city of Smyrna employee who happened to be at the car wash; officers say he fired at the suspect as he was about to drive out of the business and onto Highlands Parkway. The suspect was shot in the shoulder, officers say.

On Sunday, police confirmed that the suspect was a juvenile and his name will not be released. He is charged with aggravated assault and theft by taking a motor vehicle.

“The guy that got shot– he was falling out of the car holding his chest, shivering and shaking, and flopped onto the ground,” says Fast Trac worker Chris Roberts.

The video shows what appears to be the suspect getting out of a burgundy minivan and into the woman’s vehicle; police are looking for the other passengers in that minivan.

The woman who boldly clung to the hood of her car has not been identified. Police say she was unhurt.

“The lady… she was freaking out, the owner of the car,” says Kyle Rogers, a manager on duty.

Imagine how harrowing this would have been.

In a situation like that, this man would have had to rely on all of his training to make the shot.

In only an instant he would have needed to make sure an errant bullet wouldn’t have pierced the door of an oncoming car.

He would have needed to use controlled, precise shots to avoid hitting anyone else

And he would have had to have spent time preparing long before this shot was ever taken to make sure he was fully aware of what the consequences of taking such a shot were.

Think liberals ever take that into account?

Of course they don’t.

They just take one bad story and run with it, ignoring all the rest.
