From Right To Bear Blog:
You’ll Love Seeing Which Group Of Americans Are Buying Guns For the First Time
As we write this there is an active shooter situation in San Bernardino.
Alas this isn’t anything new here in America, but sadly it is something we have do deal with on a regular basis. The amount of domestic terrorism completed by deranged psychopaths along with with threat of Islamic terrorism mean people really have to consider how they can protect themselves in these dangerous times.
Because America is becoming more dangerous people are starting to buy guns, and one group of Americans are buying them in record number.
Jerry McCall, owner of Texas Guns, told a local TV station after the Paris attacks the store’s patrons took on a different flavor. “I am 67 and I have people in their 70s and 80s who say they have never owned a firearm, but think they need one in the house now,” he said. Steve Rhodes, from TGD Firearms, told reporters, “We have a lot of first-time buyers who come in and say, ‘You know what, it’s getting kind of crazy out there. We just want to feel protected.’”
One of the biggest issues is people just don’t understand why these events are taking place and with such frequency. This is the issue we’re left to deal with.
If we can get to the root cause of this kind of violence then we could rest a bit easier without the fear of a mass shooting taking place. Of course the problem is many of the politicians in charge aren’t interested in dealing with what’s causing systemic violence but would rather impose stricter gun control to prevent violence.
Of course we know that won’t work, and that’s why the older and younger generations are desperate to get guns in their hands. Because it’s the only reasonable way to protect oneself in this day and age.
