This was one of the best examples of how the mainstream media tries so hard to undermine conservative Republicans that they sometimes completely embarrass themselves by accident.
In this short clip of CNN’s Kathleen Parker, she is so eager to make Ted Cruz look like a creepy religious extremist, she reveals her abject and complete ignorance about Christianity.

In case you missed it, she thought Ted Cruz was asking the literal body of Jesus Christ to rise from the dead and “serve him” because he used the phrase “rise up, body of Christ.”
Now if you have even a passing understanding of Christianity or just happened to read any of the New Testament, you’d know the “body of Christ” is a phrase that means the church, or the body of believers.
But if you’re Kathleen Parker, you’re ignorant of even the most basic understanding of Christianity, so you try to make Ted Cruz look weird, and end up humiliating yourself.
Kathleen is currently recovering from being a laughingstock on the internet.
