Trump Blasts RNC for What They Just Did without His Authorization

Presidential Candidate Donald Trump has been the bane of the GOP establishment since he launched his campaign for President. However, it appears that Mr. Trump is valuable to the Republican National Committee when they use his name in their fundraising efforts.

The problem is that Mr. Trump does not endorse or condone this fundraising as evidenced by his taking to social media. According to Teaparty.org:

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump blasted the Republican National Committee Saturday for “illegally” using his name in a fundraising solicitation.

Trump made his point on Twitter late Saturday morning, noting that the RNC is “probably not on my side.”

In a follow-up tweet, the New York billionaire urged his supporters to “not pay,” saying that he is “self funding” his White House campaign.

Hypocrisy is a staple of politics, and nowhere is that more evident than the RNC disparaging Mr. Trump out of one side of its mouth while attempting to solicit funds, using his name, out of the other side of his mouth.

It’s a sad state of affairs for the establishment to use such deceptive tactics. It feeds perfectly into the narrative Mr. Trump is gaining so much popularity for.

Time will tell how this shakes out, but for now, my guess is that it will further embolden Mr. Trump and solidify his anti-establishment rhetoric.
