Our good friend Peter Roff at the US News and World Report is reporting 

that former RINO congressman Eric Cantor is throwing his hat back in the

 ring and making a Senate Run:

Can Cantor win? It's hard to say. If he wants to square off against failed 

Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, he's going to have to 

defeat a slew of conservatives. Those candidates might include the likes 

of Carly Fiorina, former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cucinelli, and 

Cantor's old nemesis, conservative Dave Brat, who cleaned his clock

 and stole his seat while Cantor was busy hanging out with lobbyists. 

With that field in mind, why would anyone want Eric Cantor?
