If GOP Refuses To Seat Moore, Should He Be Elected, Are They Not Ignoring An Election. Is That Legal?
GOP: WE’LL IGNORE ELECTION IN ALABAMA IF MOORE WINS
Establishment Republicans have waged war on pro-Trump candidates
Gloria Allred is representing a client who claims Roy Moore sexually assaulted her as a young girl, this coming out just before Moore’s Alabama Senate election is set to take place.
Three weeks before the 2016 presidential election Allred represented a woman who said Trump made unwanted sexual advances toward her, but the claims were refuted when Trump officials released an email from the woman proving her desire to reconnect with Trump six months earlier.
Despite the suspicious timing of the allegations and the fact that previous Allred accusers have lied for political gain, Mitch McConnell and the GOP establishment say they will overrule the decision of voters if Moore is elected.
Could there be more to this story than meets the eyes?
The GOP has spent over 8 million dollars opposing conservative candidates like Roy Moore, while only spending fifty thousand opposing Democrats because McConnell can survive a loss of Republican majority as long as his GOP establishment can put him back in power if they get more than 50 GOP senators, but if he loses his GOP establishment the swamp is defeated and he’s done whether he wins re-election or not.
