Detroit Fraud-- More Votes Than Voters

Records: Too many votes in 37% of Detroit’s precincts

Voting machines in more than one-third of all Detroit precincts registered more votes than they should have during last month’s presidential election, according to Wayne County records prepared at the request of The Detroit News.
Detailed reports from the office of Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett show optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37 percent, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books. Voting irregularities in Detroit have spurred plans for an audit by Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson’s office, Elections Director Chris Thomas said Monday.
The Detroit precincts are among those that couldn’t be counted during a statewide presidential recount that began last week and ended Friday following a decision by the Michigan Supreme Court.
Democrat Hillary Clinton overwhelmingly prevailed in Detroit and Wayne County. But Republican President-elect Donald Trump won Michigan by 10,704 votes or 47.5 percent to 47.3 percent.
Overall, state records show 10.6 percent of the precincts in the 22 counties that began the retabulation process couldn’t be recounted because of state law that bars recounts for unbalanced precincts or ones with broken seals.
The problems were the worst in Detroit, where discrepancies meant officials couldn’t recount votes in 392 precincts, or nearly 60 percent. And two-thirds of those precincts had too many votes.
“There’s always going to be small problems to some degree, but we didn’t expect the degree of problem we saw in Detroit. This isn’t normal,” said Krista Haroutunian, chairwoman of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers.
State officials are planning to examine about 20 Detroit precincts where ballot boxes opened during the recount had fewer ballots than poll workers had recorded on Election Day.
“We’re assuming there were (human) errors, and we will have discussions with Detroit election officials and staff in addition to reviewing the ballots,” Thomas said.
The Detroit News last week was first to report that more than half of Detroit would be ineligible for the recount because of the irregularities. The results were based on county reports obtained by The News.
The new report, compiled by Wayne County elections officials, sheds light on the extent of the problems and shows a systematic tendency toward counting more votes than the previous Wayne County report, which didn’t specify if precincts had over-counted or under-counted ballots.
Republican state senators last week called for an investigation in Wayne County, including one precinct where a Detroit ballot box contained only 50 of the 306 ballots listed in a poll book, according to an observer for Trump.
City officials have told state officials that ballots in that precinct were never taken out of a locked bin below the voting machine tabulator on Election Day, said Secretary of State spokesman Fred Woodhams.
“That’s what we’ve been told, and we’ll be wanting to verify it,” Woodhams said. “At any rate, this should not have happened.”
The state is not calling the audit an investigation, “but based on what we find, it could lead to more,” he said.
City Clerk Janice Winfrey and Elections Director Daniel Baxter did not return multiple messages.
Audit ‘good place to start’
State Sen. Patrick Colbeck, R-Canton, called the planned audit “a good place to start” that could help determine whether Detroit elections workers “followed the correct procedures” or “fraudulent procedures” on Election Day.
Whether a poll book mismatch suggests there are too few or too many ballots in any given precinct, “it’s concerning,” said Colbeck, who spearheaded the request for probe. “It’s supposed to reconcile to zero.”
It’s unclear how many votes were added in Detroit. That’s because county officials have not tabulated how much the ballots were off in precincts with discrepancies of at least five votes.
Of the data available, though, machines tallied at least 388 more ballots, according to a Detroit News analysis of the records. That’s 0.16 percent of the 248,000 ballots cast in the city that voted for Clinton 95 percent to 3 percent over Trump.
Haroutunian said she didn’t know what to make of the trend toward over-counting because there was no explanation from Detroit poll workers. The city had another 34 precincts that were out of balance, but they included explanations for the discrepancies.
Under state law, those precincts could be recounted because there were explanations. The law states that original results stand in precincts that can’t be recounted.
Washtenaw County Elections Director Ed Golembiewski said discrepancies tend to “even themselves out” — there are usually about as many precincts whose machines report more votes than fewer votes. But he said the large number of precincts with over-votes in Detroit isn’t necessarily significant.
“It’s usually human error,” Golembiewski said. “I have not seen anyone intentionally try to run an extra ballot. You aren’t going to rig an election three ballots at a time. You’re going to need a far more systematic and thorough approach than a couple of people here and there stuffing three extra ballots.”
In Washtenaw County, 23 of 150 precincts, about 15 percent, could not be recounted. Other counties with high percentages of unrecountable precincts include Branch (27 percent); Cass (24 percent); Wayne (24 percent) and Ionia (24 percent).
Who’s responsible for errors?
Last week, Baxter told The News 87 optical scanners broke on Election Day. He said many jammed when voters tried repeatedly to stuff single ballots into scanners, which can result in erroneous vote counts if poll workers don’t adjust counters.
Former Detroit mayoral candidate Tom Barrow, who has challenged the city’s elections process for years, said blaming workers is a cop-out. According to city protocol, all precincts are supposed to be balanced when the ballot boxes are sealed at the end of the night, he said.
“The city is responsible. Janice Winfrey is responsible,” Barrow said. “This didn’t happen because of crazy, dyslexic senior citizens who are working as poll workers, like they want to portray this. That’s people who are trying to deny responsibility.”
He has asserted on social media that Winfrey cost Clinton the election in Michigan.
Others said there could be benign explanations.
Detroit’s ballot was two pages because it included dozens of candidates for the local Board of Education. The number of pages can cause machines to jam and lead them to count too many ballots, said Genesee County Clerk John Gleason.
“Usually, if there’s a problem, it tends to be more voters than votes,” he said. “But when we’re off, we should be very, very close, like one ballot.”
Genesee County, which like Wayne County is heavily Democratic, couldn’t recount 14 of the 142 precincts it had started before the court scuttled the process. Gleason took office in 2013 and said he had to “ride herd” over city clerks to ensure they reconciled precincts.
“Nothing is perfect. You have paper. You have humidity. You have people hanging onto ballots,” Gleason said.
“So there’s reasons, but there should be no excuses.”

Vote Recount May Hurt Hillary

VOTE FRAUD IN MICHIGAN FAVORED HILLARY CLINTON, NOT TRUMP

Votes in heavily pro-Clinton areas counted twice

Optical ballot scanners in Michigan that malfunctioned on election night and may have counted votes twice were situated in heavily Democratic areas, meaning that any vote fraud in the state actually favored Hillary Clinton, not Donald Trump.
The revelation is buried in a Guardian article which discusses broken voting machines in Detroit and one-third of surrounding Wayne County, where Hillary Clinton won in a landslide;
“Eighty-seven of Wayne County’s decade-old voting machines broke on election day, according to Detroit’s elections director, Daniel Baxter. He told the Detroit News, which first reported the story, that ballot scanners often jammed when polling place workers were trying to operate them. Every time a jammed ballot was removed and reinserted, he suspects the machine may have re-counted it.”
In other words, in an area where the significant majority of people voted for Hillary Clinton, their votes may have been counted twice.
This means that Trump’s margin of victory in Michigan may be even larger than the 10,704 votes initially recorded.
The Guardian’s claim that, “Wayne’s population of 1,759,335 makes it the likeliest candidate to contain errors bigger than that margin,” suggesting that Hillary would have a chance of overturning defeat is a misnomer given that any vote irregularities would have been in her favor.
Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, after five days of the recount and over a million votes counted, Donald Trump has extended his lead in the state by 26 votes.
Trump lost 302 votes but gained 386 votes elsewhere, whereas Hillary Clinton lost 293 votes and gained 351 elsewhere.
In Pennsylvania, where a statewide recount now looks unlikely, Clinton has gained only five votes after the state’s two largest counties completed their recount.

The Idiots Scream About Guns But Drug Overdoses Claim More Lives

Drug Overdose Deaths Increase 14 Percent in Michigan

Heroin and opioids were the drugs of choice in 1,001 of the 1,745 drug overdose deaths in 2014, Michigan health officials said.

Drug Overdose Deaths Increase 14 Percent in Michigan

DETROIT, MI – Drug overdose deaths climbed 14 percent in 2014, claiming the lives of 1,745 people in Michigan, the state Department of Health and Human Services said in a new report released Monday.
Drug overdose deaths in 2014, the latest year for which statistics are available, were the No. 1 cause of injury-related deaths, outpacing deaths from automobile accident, which claimed only about half as many lives — 876.
The largest number of drug overdose deaths came in Wayne County and Detroit, the state’s most populous county and city. Countywide, 322 people (18 percent of all overdoses) died as a result of overdoses, 132 of them in Detroit alone (7.5 of all overdoses).
Macomb County accounted for 14 percent of drug overdose deaths statewide with 249. In Oakland County, 127 people overdosed from drugs (7.2) percent. In Washtenaw County, 65 people (3.7 percent of the total statewide) died of drug overdoses.

More from Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch

Heroin and other opioids were used in 1,001 of the overdoses, an increase from 99 in 1999. Some other key findings from the Michigan Prescription Drug and Opioid Abuse Task Force report:
Men are more likely to die of heroin overdoses than woman, at a rate of 7 per 100,000 overdoses, compared to 2.1 for women.
Adults age 35-44 died of opioid overdoses at a rate of 12 per 100,000, compared with 11.3 per 100,000 for younger adults ages 25-34.
When heroin and all opioid overdose deaths are combined, men died at a rate of 21.4 per 100,000, compared with 14.1 per 100,000 for women.

Jihad Comes To Michigan In The Form Of Election Fraud

The first step in overthrowing a culture is to penetrate its culture. Voting is part of what makes us Americans and apparently it looks like that is our soft underbelly that the Jihadists are going to attack. If they can get themselves elected they can mandate their anti-American ways through the passage of laws. Brilliant strategy because Americans will not even put up a fight!

It is happening in Michigan and it can occur anywhere there are more than two radicals who want their way. Don't think that just because you don't have any living in your town, that you do not have to worry. Once they capture the cities, then it will be onto the states and finally the entire country.

Thanks to Debbie Schlussel for bringing this to our attention. Even though we live in the same region as Hamtramack, this bastardization of the voting system has had little coverage by the  local media.  One can only wonder why. It is just another example of how poor the media is in this country.

Election Jihad: 3 Muslims Charged With Election Fraud in Seeking to Take Over Detroit Suburb

Last week, I told you about Muslim attempts to take over Hamtramck, Michigan, a/k/a “Hamtramckstan,” via ballot and election fraud. As I’ve noted over the years, Hamtramck went from a largely Polish Catholic Detroit suburb to a Muslim-dominated shariah city. But, until now, Muslims have never won the mayor position or taken over Hamtramck’s City Council. That’s coming. But until then, several Muslims thought they’d get things going faster through election fraud–by turning in hundreds of fraudulent absentee ballots (the number of absentee ballots cast in this year’s summer primaryelection were double the number cast in last year’s Presidential election). Today, several Muslims were criminally charged by Michigan’s Attorney General for the election fraud. Unfortunately, Abdul Algazali, the Muslim candidate for Mayor who may have had a part in the scheme, is not among those charged and will likely be elected Hamtramckstan Mayor in November. I call this “election jihad” or “halalection.”

Halal Election Fraud in Hamtramckstan
Three men, including a Hamtramck city council candidate in August’s primary election, are being charged with returning absentee ballots that did not belong to them. . . . Hamtramck Deputy City Clerk August Gitschlag told authorities that three people had delivered multiple absentee ballots to City Hall in violation of state election law, which says those in possession of ballots must be the voter, a relative, mail carrier or authorized official.
Salim Ahmed, 50, of Hamtramck, is charged with 21 counts of improper possession or return of absentee ballots. Armani Asad, 33, of Hamtramck, is charged with 14 counts of improper possession or return of absentee ballots. Mohammed Russell, 32, of Hamtramck, is charged with six counts of improper possession or return of absentee ballots. The charges are felonies punishable by up to five years in prison and a $1,000 fine. The men are expected to turn themselves in to authorities Thursday for arraignment, where they will be held on $10,000 bail each.
Asad was a candidate for city council in the Aug. 6 primary. He finished ninth out of 10 candidates with 307 votes. The top six vote-getters advanced to November’s election to vie for four-year terms. Ahmed was a campaign worker.
The investigation into possible ballot tampering is continuing.
Last week, the Wayne County Board of Canvassers announced after a recount of the city’s ballots that it would be sending letters to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office and the chief judge of the 31st District Court to investigate the election. They claimed probable cause of fraud based on the high number of absentee ballots turned in by residents and the high number of absentee voters, which was nearly twice the amount received during the 2012 presidential election. City Councilwoman Cathie Gordon, who ran unsuccessfully for mayor in the August primary, said she’s glad some progress is being made into the allegations.
“If you want to be on a ballot and you want to be an elected official in our town, you have to be 100 percent transparent and 100 percent honest,” said Gordon, who petitioned Wayne County for the recount. “If you are not, we don’t want you here.”
The so-called “Religion of Peace” is actually the religion of election fraud . . . while they still allow us to have elections. If they have their way, that will end, too. Check out Gaza . . . where HAMAS was elected once. And never held a full-scale election again.
Hamtramck ain’t that much different. Just remember: they can’t take over the U.S. through violent jihad (yet), so they are doing it another way: election fraud.
Yeah, yeah, I know, I know: election fraud doesn’t exist, Muslims are completely honest and peaceful and would never engage in such a thing even if it did exist, and the roads are made of Juicy Fruit, and the world is a bunch of lollipops.
One other thing: before you go cheering Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, remember that he is a butt snorkeler to Muslims himself and gladly hangs out with a number of Hezbollah agents and supporters.
