The Gay Movement is making significant headway into the culture of the US. There are gay mayors, senators, representatives, baseball players, football players and now the military recognizes them. The first article below is the plan to infiltrate all parts of society and to homosexualize all males and the second is the Obama Administration indicating they will not defend the "Defense of Marriage" law as it applies to the military. In other words, anything goes.
Not since the Roman Empire has the world seen such a decline in morals as we have seen since 1950 in the United States. In these brief 60 years, we have gone from a moral society (where inappropriate actions were kept "in the closet") to one where just about anything goes. Girls who got pregnant were sent away, gay meant happy, and the rainbow was when the sun came out after a rainstorm. My, how things have changed!
Some would argue that this is wonderful. No more hiding the truth. We disagree. Morals are what distinguish a society from the animals. Like rules to live by, these strictures show us how we should act and behave. Without them, chaos occurs.
We do not know what causes someone to be gay. Whether it is nature or nurture, that is something to be debated. However, having grown up on a ranch, we can tell you that it just is not natural for a male and a male to copulate nor female and female. It just is not what nature meant to occur. The male and female organs (in most animals) were designed to procreate the species. Therefore when society determined there should be a "marriage ceremony" it was between two people of opposite sexes and not Bob and Jim or Sarah and Bonnie.
That is the purpose of the Defense of Marriage Act that our "Divider in Chief" has decided will not be defended. He now has made the decision that the military does have to recognize "marriages" of gays where ever they occurred. This decision will break down unit cohesion, cause problems within the ranks and will cause long term members of the service to submit their retirement papers. It is not positive and will have very negative impact on our military readiness.
If there ever was a time for a new President, the time is now!

Holder Won't Defend Military Against Suit to Force Recognition of Same-Sex Marriages
Holder won't defend limit on gay military benefits
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration is extending its decision to stop defending an anti-gay marriage law to provisions affecting same-sex couples in the military.
The 1996 federal Defense of Marriage Act requires the Pentagon to ignore same-sex marriages even if they were legally obtained in a state that allows them. A group of married gay service members and veterans sued in U.S. District Court in Boston last fall arguing the law is unconstitutional and they are entitled to spousal benefits.
Attorney General Eric Holder announced a year ago that President Barack Obama determined DOMA is legally indefensible, reversing a policy of defending the law in litigation. On Friday he wrote to congressional leaders saying the administration reached the same conclusion for lawsuits like the one in Boston involving military personnel.

Ron Paul and we other Libertarians take the position that marriage law is a states rights matter, and federal courts have no constitutional authority to interfere (see Paul's "We the People Act").
