Older Smokers Could Be Denied ObamaCare

In the following article by CBS News regarding older smokers having an additional smoker penalty added to their health insurance premium, leaves out a vital component. What happens to any American who cannot afford the premium and decides to go without coverage? Do they go to jail? Are they allowed to die on the doorstep of the hospital? Will their children/spouse/family be charged the premium? What happens if they have no children or living relatives?

We doubt that anyone knows the answer, however, it must be answered and none of the  above suggestions would be comfortable responses to our question. This has been one of the concerns we have had with Obamacare from the beginning.

If everyone MUST have coverage, what happens when someone does not? Do they get the care anyway as we do now? Or are they sent to a "poverty hospital"?  If these options occur, why would anyone buy insurance other than to have a choice.  However, if income would prevent someone from buying coverage, what is to happen to them?

By the way, how long will it be that extra premiums will be added to your Obamacare coverage due to your diabetes, weight, high blood pressure,  or gun ownership? It is in the bill for smokers, so it would be a natural extension. The argument will be that all of these issues are preventable.

One thing that is sure NOT to have any additional premiums would be abortions or AIDS coverage. You can get as many abortions as you want and the government will pay for each one, even though pregnancies and AIDS are preventable!

As we go through the next year there will be more confusion and clarifications on this abysmal law. We will try to cover the issues as they come up, however, we do not expect to have answers!
