Even Though The Burglar Was Not Killed, Will The Shooter Be Sued? Probably For Indiscriminate Castration!

Man Tries To Rob A House, See Why He Might Never Be Able To Reproduce Now

41014632_sHave you ever heard the expression “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes?”
Well it’s definitely a fitting way to describe what happens to people who engage in criminal activity.
When a criminal decides they’re going to break the law then they absolutely must expect the consequences they’re being exposed to are cataclysmic.
They’re stupidity can help them win the worst of prizes.
Need more proof?
Here’s an example of what happens when you play stupid games…
A Texas neighborhood had been hit with a string of burglaries in recent weeks, but this time one of the suspects was stopped by a gun owner who was not afraid to defend himself.
In the middle of the night the Texas homeowner was woken up by the sound of someone breaking into his back door.  So he grabbed his gun and shot the intruder in the groin.
The news video says he was shot in the stomach, but other reports confirmed the suspect’s injury was to the groin area.  Either way, not a pleasant place to be shot.
Via the Blaze,
It happened Monday morning in Lake Dunlap, Texas, when 37-year-old suspect Philip Owens came face to face with the armed resident, the Seguin Gazette reported.
Guadalupe County Sheriff’s investigator, Sgt. Zachary McBride, said deputies later recovered evidence such as the gloves Owens was wearing. A crow bar and headlight with the were also found nearby, but they did not belong to the homeowner.
This was just the latest in a spate of burglaries that have been occurring throughout the neighborhood, often in the mornings and where the suspects have entered through a backdoor.
“This was the same time of day and the same point of entry that Philip Owens was attempting to do in this case,” McBride pointed out.
The sheriff’s office said Owens is also a suspect in other burglaries in and around the Guadalupe County area.
Owens was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The homeowner will not be charged, KENS-TV reported.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating the other burglary cases.
“I’m definitely armed and ready. Everything that’s happened in the last 24 hours around here is proof of that,” Stefanie Manchaca, who lives in the area, said.
To be honest there’s hardly a person in the world (other than a bleeding heart liberal) who’s going to feel sorry for the burglar.
If more criminals realized their most sensitive body parts were in danger of being ruined then there might be a significant reduction in crime across the nation.
If only more criminals received prizes like this…
What do you think about what happen to the criminal?
