BREAKING: Barack Obama Lands in Cuba, Immediately Disgraces Himself
If it wasn't already clear, to you before, this photo should make one thing
crystal clear to you:
Barack Obama is a national disgrace, unfit to be commander in chief of a
nation built on the premise of human liberty. This photo will no doubt make
the half baked, radical left-wing nitwits who love him swoon, but it's an insult
to those who fought and died to end the scourge of global communism.
For those of you who don't know, the image he's posing in front of is that of
For those of you who don't know, the image he's posing in front of is that of
Che Guevara, Fidel Castro's right hand man. Today he graces hipster t-shirts.
What was so bad about Che? As Jay Nordlinger outlined in National Review:
The fog of time and the strength of anti-anti-Communism have obscured
the real Che. Who was he? He was an Argentinian revolutionary who
served as Castro’s primary thug. He was especially infamous for
presiding over summary executions at La Cabana, the fortress that
was his abattoir. He liked to administer the coup de grace, the bullet
to the back of the neck. And he loved to parade people past El Paredon,
the reddened wall against which so many innocents were killed.
Furthermore, he established the labor-camp system in which countless
citizens–dissidents, democrats, artists, homosexuals–would suffer
and die. This is the Cuban gulag. A Cuban-American writer,
Humberto Fontova, described Guevara as “a combination of
Beria and Himmler.” Anthony Daniels once quipped, “The
difference between [Guevara] and Pol Pot was that [the former]
never studied in Paris.”
Today, Guevara is immortalized by Hollywood, atrocious left-wing
college professors, and people like Bernie Sanders who say things
like "communism is great in theory." We at AAN like to remember
him as he was in his moment of death: a begging, left-wing failure
and a coward. As Felix Rodriguez notes in recounting Che's
As two Bolivian Rangers leveled their weapons at him, Guevara
dropped his own fully functional rifle, with a near full magazine,
and begged, “Don’t shoot! Don’t shoot! I am Che Guevara and I
am worth more to you alive than dead!” As his small guerilla force
was being decimated below, in the very trap he had led them into,
Guevara’s only concern was for himself as he continued to plead
with the Bolivian Rangers not to kill him.
Guevara, who singlehandedly murdered many innocent Cubans for
crimes like political dissent and property ownership, was put down
like a cowering dog. It was a major victory for those who celebrate
human liberty, and provided a small measure of justice for Cubans
who have suffered under the regime built by Castro and Guevara.
Those of us who love freedom and understand the horrors visited
upon the world recognize what a monster this man was, and that the
world is a better place without him. President Obama apparently disagrees.
