The Disgusting Statement Geraldo Just Made About Ben Carson and Republicans

While many people accuse Donald Trump of dominating all the press coverage, one mild-mannered GOP candidate continues to win favor with Republican voters: Ben Carson.

Carson has a wide appeal that goes beyond his candidate ‘persona.’ As a pediatric neurosurgeon, we know he’s intelligent and although he’s soft-spoken, one gets the sense that he’s no pushover. There is strength there.

Unfortunately, Geraldo Rivera, that sometimes-Republican (who often sits in the Democrat’s seat on Fox’s The Five) who sees racism and injustice everywhere he turns disagrees. He doesn’t think Republicans think much of Carson at all. In fact, according to Geraldo, the only reason Carson is up in the polls is because Republican voters are “struggling with white guilt.”

“I’m reminded of David Dinkins,” Geraldo said. “The first black mayor of New York City who, when people were polled, was killing Rudy Giuliani in their second matchup. And then, when Election Day came, it came, obviously, Giuliani beat Dinkins.”

He compared the mayoral election to the 2016 GOP primary, suggesting that “a lot of Republicans polled by Monmouth are giving the politically correct answer.”
