Armed Citizen Takes Out Robber

at Waffle House

To a liberal, guns are pretty much the root of all evil, especially in light of the mass shootings —
which have mostly happened in lefty “gun free zones” by the way — that have been springing up
over the last few years, which have inspired the president to attempt violating the Constitution
by superseding Congress to enact gun control, which then also violates the Second Amendment.
Loony leftists think firearms magically pick themselves up, aim, and take out targets of their
choice, all without outside help from wackadoos with a few screws loose in their brain cavities.
Therefore, since progressives absolutely love to make huge blanket statements, all guns are
 bad, mmmkay.
What these knuckleheads miss is the fact that when a law abiding citizen exercises their
Second Amendment rights properly, a weapon in the right hands actually saves lives.
Which is exactly what happened at this Waffle House in Charleston, South Carolina.
A Waffle House customer with a legally concealed weapon saved the day by shooting

an armed robber at a Waffle House in North Charleston, South Carolina.
The customer, who remains unidentified, opened fire on the armed suspect around

5 a.m. Saturday morning, according to The Post and Courier. The suspect, who

police have also not named, was rushed to the hospital where he died from his wounds.
The customer’s decision to use force drew praise from employees. “He saved us

, that’s what he did,” a Waffle House employee said.
A police officer at the scene spoke out saying what the customer did is an example of
how guns, when rightly used, can be life savers.
“It’s says something about firearms, for good people with firearms being in the

right hands.”
This sort of thing is exactly why the Second Amendment exists. Our Founding Fathers
recognized that we need to be able to defend ourselves against tyrannical government,
as well as crazed criminals looking to deprive us of life, liberty, and property.
In their wisdom, they crafted this amendment in the Bill of Rights to ensure we have the
means of putting down robbers who might try to hurt us or those around us.
Without the use of a firearm in the hands of a properly trained individual, who knows
what might have happened at this restaurant.
Police are not a crime prevention organization, though they certainly try to do the best
they can. No, cops can’t be everywhere at once, so the only hope one has of achieving
some level of reasonable safety is to be armed.
This is why we must continue to fight for our right to own a firearm and keep ourselves
safe from the crazies in the world.
