Will Memo Make Things Worse In Congress?

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) called in a statement for the prosecution of top FBI and Department of Justice officials after the release of the controversial FISA memo Friday.
Here’s what he said:
“The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence memorandum on the FBI abuse of FISA warrants and targeting a sitting President is not just evidence of incompetence but clear and convincing evidence of treason,” Gosar said in the statement.
“The FBI knowingly took false information from the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign and then used it to smear Donald Trump in order to hurt his campaign,” he explained.
“This is third world politics where the official government agencies are used as campaign attack dogs,” he added.
“The full throated adoption of this illegal misconduct and abuse of FISA by James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, and Rod Rosenstein is not just criminal but constitutes treason,” he claimed. “I will be leading a letter to the Attorney General seeking criminal prosecution against these traitors to our nation.”
“Finally,” Gosar concluded. “Let me say this to those members of Congress who fought so hard to keep the truth from the American public. Your efforts to protect a corrupt organization are duly noted. I am not surprised Sen. Flake has again cast his lot with the Democrats and those that attack true patriots. Good riddance.”
Has the White House said anything about this?
The Trump administration appeared to indicate that there would be no prosecutions as a result of the memo released Friday. “White House spokesman says no changes will be made at the Justice Department following release of Republican memo on Russia probe critical of the department,” reported Reuters.
