In a Rose Garden announcement a few minutes ago, Vice President Biden has declared that he will not be a candidate for President in 2016. He spoke about the many people that have helped him since the time that he started in politics at the age of 26.
We believe this is just part of the Obama plan to run in 2016 after Hillary's indictment and her subsequent withdrawal from the campaign. If this occurs, the Democrats will arrive at their convention in July without any viable candidate. (We do not believe that Bernie Sanders is a such a person.) They will have no option other than to ask Obama to run and he will, after some initial purposeful hesitation.
As we have written before, the Constitution is no impediment to him running as he ignores it and the 22nd amendment has been deemed meaningless as no one will be able to mount a challenge as they do not have "standing" to bring the suit.
Could we be wrong, obviously yes, however, we do not think so. Time will tell but we do not feel he will give up the house, car, plane and the "majesty" of the office. There is no way that he can raise the amount of money to live in the style that he has become accustomed and therefore the only way to continue on is to stay on the job.
Biden's withdrawal from consideration opens the door to a Constitutional crisis unseen in US history. Will it occur? Tell us what you think.
