LOL: Woman Who Eats On Obama Placemats Has A ‘Plan’ For Completely Banning Guns

Writer Barbara LeSavoy of the Democrat and Chronicle has written an amazingly laughable op-ed about what she thinks Obama should do about guns.  After admitting she voted for Obama twice, which plainly states in and of itself why she is unqualified to opine on economics or gun ownership, she makes a glaring statement about how he should handle us defiant gun owners. Ready?

LeSavoy alleges that Obama’s legacy on guns should include a complete ban on them. She starts her article, if you can call it that, with a love affair that a German would have had with Hitler.

“During his 2008 presidential campaign, my two daughters, partner, and I ate every meal in our house on Obama placemats. We bought these at our local supermarket, plastic-coated, plate-sized paper rectangles with an image of his face framed by colors of the flag. While politically minded, I am not overly patriotic, so this mealtime ritual of American allegiance was odd for me. Still, we looked at the image of his face each day and we believed that he really could be the change in America.”

As if that doesn’t mean we should pity her enough, she goes on with asking Obama to be more like Hitler.  Be more like a tyranical dictator. What does she want exactly?

“Firearm possession should be banned in America; President Obama can orchestrate this directive. His presidency can be remembered as a remarkable turn in United States history where a progressive leader forever changed the landscape under which we live and work. This is his legacy. To establish gun control laws in America that will reduce high levels of male violence and usher in a culture of peace and civility.”

Please stop laughing, especially at “male violence,” as that could fill a whole new article.  We can no longer pity these people, as they vote and buy Obama placemats. I wonder if LeSavoy even considers what she’s asking for.  Americans that own guns are not British or Australian, and it is almost a guarantee that any attempt to confiscate guns will result in a bloodbath because Americans won’t just roll over like our counterparts. Is this what you want?  More innocent people will die during mandatory confiscation than have been killed in America by “gun violence” including suicides since our country’s founding.  But this seems acceptable to liberals who don’t possess even two brain cells to rub together.
