Wall Street Journal columnist backs Clinton
A Wall Street Journal editorial board member threw her support behind Hillary Clinton in a column published Thursday, marking a stunning entry in the annals of the most-prominent conservative-leaning publication in the country.
"It will be either Mr. Trump or Mrs. Clinton—experienced, forward-looking, indomitably determined and eminently sane," Pulitzer Prize-winner Dorothy Rabinowitz writes in a column headlined "Hillary-Hatred Derangement Syndrome."
"Her election alone is what stands between the American nation and the reign of the most unstable, proudly uninformed, psychologically unfit president ever to enter the White House."
The endorsement comes as Clinton continues to pile up support from traditionally right-leaning outlets, including Monday's endorsement from the Arizona Republic's editorial board, a newspaper that has not endorsed a Democrat in its 126-year history before calling Clinton this week "the only choice to move America ahead."
